Miley Cyrus has said she is “still sexually attracted to women” despite her marriage to Aussie star Liam Hemsworth.

Speaking in the new issue of US Elle, the singer said people are “confused” by the couple’s “complex and modern” marriage.

Cyrus, who identifies as queer, told the magazine: “I think it’s very confusing to people that I’m married. But my relationship is unique.”

Cyrus said she didn’t feel the need to publicly explain the couple’s union, saying, “I don’t know that I would ever publicly allow people in there because it’s so complex, and modern, and new that I don’t think we’re in a place where people would get it.

“I mean, do people really think that I’m at home in a f**king apron cooking dinner? … I’m in a hetero relationship, but I still am very sexually attracted to women.”

Cyrus also spoke about the expectations put on women in society. “We’re expected to keep the planet populated, and when that isn’t a part of our plan or our purpose, there is so much judgment and anger that they try to make and change laws to force it upon you — even if you become pregnant in a violent situation.

“If you don’t want children, people feel sorry for you, like you’re a cold, heartless b***h who’s not capable of love. Why are we trained that love means putting yourself second and those you love first? If you love yourself, then what? You come first.”

Cyrus said in marrying Hemsworth she made “a partner decision”.

“This is the person I feel has my back the most. I definitely don’t fit into a stereotypical wife role. I don’t even like that word.”

Cyrus also spoke about not wanting children until we “fix the planet up”.

“Until I feel like my kid would live on an earth with fish in the water, I’m not bringing in another person to deal with that.”

Cyrus and Hemsworth began dating in 2010 after they met on the set of the romantic weepy, The Last Song.

They became engaged in 2012 but split in 2013. They rekindled their romance in 2016 and cyrus confirmed they were engaged during an appearance on the Ellen show.

The couple married last December in an intimate ceremony at the singer’s Nashville home.

I totally get marrying someone who’s your partner, got your back. But I don’t believe in one person for one person. I love loving people, I love connections, I love the intimacy you can have with more than one person. Whether for one night or forever. Open planned relationships is more comfortable for me moving forward. Even just simple things like fantasies, some partners just can’t for fill them, so should I be suppressed? Hell no and neither should they. Sure there’s jealousy, but you learn. Trust is a key and communication is huge. You have to know boundaries and really appreciate and compromise. It’s not the end of the world to love more than one person. As long as every one is on board. People offer you different things, different experience. X

The beauty of humanity is that we are all different yet all so similar. The true success is finding the person that completes you, no matter how you live your sexuality and relationships. To me it looks like she is one that tries too hard to prove the point that she is different. You are not in a "modern" relationship Miley, you are in the one you choosed to be. Or at least i hope you are for your own good. The point of deciding to have children or not is not about society, is about wanting to evolve our love, to create a life from the love that we are living, to pursuit a natural human instinct that i believe is in everybody to some extent. Maybe Miley is not ready yet but i think she is ridiculous when she labels her decision of relationship as "modern"

She is far from unique, her relationship is vanilla compare to the swingers I have known.

She is strong enough and powerful or confident enough to be and say what she wants. Good luck to them both.

The narcissistic, quasi-pornstar tendencies displayed by our little Miley ('Chicken Butt') Cyrus could be the results of the identity crisis post the transition from Hanna Montana to the modern Miley. I couldnt imagine what that girl would perceive to be 'normal'. I wish them many happy adventures & hope this version of a relationship brings them happiness. I still think she's insanely HOT, but not that great with tight vinyl shorts on...

You gotta love Miley from the time she declared that she was pansexual we felt she was comfortable being herself. Actually think that’ll be normal in relationships in the next 15 years. People won’t refer to it as unique or complex. No single person embodies everything that another person needs so why pretend. Those who do pretend are responsible for the near 50% divorce rate after realising that the person they married can’t be everything they need. Get your stable partner and explain what else you need and go for it without threatening your stable relationship that is the future and Miley seems to understand that, hopefully her partner does as well.

There's not one person in the entire world, who would think that Miley would be in an apron cooking dinner in her kitchen ??????, so there goes her point. Now, if she was... that would be the shock.
