I am on Coogee Beach having breakfast with Paintme. I told her this thread was too long to read because I have a short attention span. So she is now reading this to me in a pirate accent. (⊙_⊙)

Do we have to ask posters with a personal message? Or have some people forgotten to put theirs into their profile?

There are only 8 "Keepers of the Ciode" as this number coincides with the 8 pieces of information that make up the latitude and longitude co-ordinates that you need to find the Island. Each nominated Keeper has the a clue on his/her/thier profile page (I have checked before posting the main thread). If profiles are temporarily locked (updating or for what ever reason) then you can always ask them via this forum thread. Keepers are duty bound to then reply either yes or no. Keepers cannot keep their profile pages locked for the purposes of withholding their clue. Keep trying, as they are all a great bunch and will play in the true spirit of the quest. Obi1

Avast all ye seekers! It seems that 3 of our valued "Keepers of the Code" are having repeated technical troubles with the RHP Gods. All 3 have been trying constantly to get their clues up on their profile pages but for some unexplained RHP reason this has been to no avail. As many seekers have now identified the other 5 Keepers of the Code, probably the best thing now to do (and I hope they don't mind) is to post up thier clues. (a bit of a shame 'caus they did indeed try!) That way the quest can continue. These 3 Keepers were: Cheekyarses (allways fun), Lollygobbleblissbomb (of course) and Guitar81 (who was certianly up for it). The Cheekies clue is #4 and reads: "The name of an Austin-based band headed by the Bee Gee's Spencer Gibb" Lollygobbles's clue is #2 and reads: "So many rock stars have died at this particular age that a club was named after them" Guitar81's clue is #6 and reads: "The number of fish that were caught in a net on the shores of galillee" My appologies and thanks to these 3 as they really did try to play! Clue # 6: "the number of fish (according to a somewhat popular book) that were caught in a certian net on the shores of Galilee" This is guitar81. As soon as I posted my clue on my profile, it was rejected and locked. Only got unlocked recently but can't post yet. So that the game can continue here is the 6th clue. So sorry for the delay folks and good lick! (Not a typo) Guitar81

"the name of me blasted Treasure Island now be known" It's a black day indeed for the crew of notorious pirate ship The Amorous Porpoise, for the fabled long lost Treasure Island of Captain No Beard has been found. I an exclusive interview with the "Daily Rodger", a despondent Mr No Beard made the startling revelation that the name and location of the Island had discovered by a Mz Mesmerized of RHP fame and subsequently published on a Forum thread. "Aye, the name of me blasted Treasure Island now be known" a nostalgic Captain No beard said yesterday. "That Mesmerised, she be the devil's own, allways searchin' and askin' and seekin'", Mr No Beard said. "The blasted woman jus' 'ner gives up". When reminded that the publication of the Island's locatiuon was the result of a recent competition instigated by the Captain himself, Mr No Beard admitted, "Aye, 'tis true, for I's be gettin' long in the tooth, and me cutlass be rusty, so's it were time to let it go" I regards to his immediate future the dejected yet defiant Pirate said "Ah, there still be a calm sea and a broad horosion ahead, so' I be off into the blue yonder now, seeking other adventures ... mayhap a wee bit o' pillaging" When reminded that there was still the matter of sending Mz Mesmerized her expensive bottle of Dom Perignon, Cap,n No Beard simply muttered... "Blast" Obi1 Kenietzsche (Current Affairs reporter for the Daily Rodger)

Captain's Log: August 6 Sea - clam Wind - 5 knots S/E Report: We have had a mutiny aboard (as the rum stocks had run low). Mutiny quashed by bosin's mate Meeka (with some sort of strange looking truncheon) Ringleaders identified as the trouble makers Freya, Paintme and Indy. Action: Freya, Paintme and Indy secured to the starboard rail and soundly lashed. Result: Negligiable (very strange..all three appeared to enjoy it!) Litonya captured by natives and taken off into the jungle (the natives have not returned) The flirtacious Lady-T has been locked in the Captian's cabin once more as her bare bosom was distracting the crew. Sent the cabin boy in with her meal at 0800 hours (He has not returned). We be now be-calmed and drifing. Our quest be lost and the treasure island be found. No rum left Me hearty thanks to a trusty crew who Kept the Code to the last. Thank ye all. Cap'n No Beard ARRRRR.
