A couple that swings together, stays together!!

Since I can remember, the entire concept of 'modern day' marriage has always been slightly confusing, and at the same time ponderous. In reality the idea or promise of spending the next 50+ years (on average) exclusively having sex with only one other person is extremely misleading and flawed?!? It is a well known fact that us human are naturally love and lust filled beings, so why would we so willingly not permit and limit these experiences?! All these restrictions lead to is two people living unfulfilling lives and inevitably resenting each others, finally resulting in one of the two parties breaking their vows! As they say... "variety is the spice of life" and "a couple that swings together, stays together!", that being said then, what would happen if the whole "marriage" concept was structured a little differently... When you are really to make that "big" decision, as soon you want to let the whole world know you have chosen that special someone to start a family with! Then as part of the "declaration" and "pledge of your love for another, you also promise to dedicate every possible moment from that day forth to your 'wedding day', exclusively discovering, learning, and loving your chosen 'life partner'! If the special individual feels the same, they will also 'pledge' the same dedication as part of their reply! After many months and maybe even years, once both parties have learnt and experienced everything there is to know about each other. When the relationship eventually reaches the point of complete 'trust' and 'understanding'... That would be the ideal time to select the 'wedding day' and begin planning the event! The newly wed couple will emerge from the day of celebrations and ceremonies, united as one entity! Pleasantly presented with the endless possibilities of discovering, experiencing and loving the entire world! You and loved one would be two people operating 'exclusively' as a couple, instead of a couple 'exclusive' to two people! This would basically eradicate the want or need for people to be dis-honest and un-faithful! Instead of getting 'side tracked' in life with sparks of lust and intrigue, both members of the loving couple would be able to address and fulfill those desires! If anyone ever felt any attraction or lust towards another individual, couple or group!?! They could then easily communicate their thoughts and desires to each other and then invite said "individuals" to join them in their bed! Therefore creating more time for them to concentrate on strengthening their relationship and also safeguarding their family! In conclusion… On the day we start being honest with our loved ones and ourselves, During month in which we stop suppressing our true feelings and truly start living them, In the year that people are enlightened and understand we want to be with someone because of who the are, not their gender! Which leads me to my next communication… Imagine the world if everyone just spoke openly about sex, lust and love, imagine if we all finally admitted we 'swing both ways' Just imagine… Till next communication!
