  hey, We found when we moved here that Cairns has a very limited scene- Not nearly as active as what we were used to. And it is pretty private as well- More about who you know Palm Cove/Ellis Beach i a nude beach- BUT it seems that from experience that it is only older/bi/gay men that visit here, so it really doesnt appeal to us. We have some free time if you want to drop us a line

  Each year Passion in Paradise is held just outside of Cairns over 5 days and it has just happened with over 70 people from around Australia attending. The locals who do attend all say the same that the scene is quiet in Cairns, they also say that nobody organises anything. Our experiences are that we have met plenty of couples in Cairns and the surrounding areas but everyone seems reluctant to meet up in public as a group due to the concern of being recognised. Try and find a small pub that is quiet and organise a social drink and advertise it here on the site. It may take a couple of gatherings until the numbers grow but eventually it will grow and Cairns will develop a good little party scene. See you next year

  There appears to be enough interest in Cairns, we just need a decent private venue to meet up. Anyone got a large house or we can hire a few hotels rooms?
