  I don't think you are going to find any magical place that you can just go and pick up.36 is hardly to old to be going to nightclubs or pubs for that matter and the old banana trick can work depending on how confident you are at talking to people. My advice is pubs and be confident, watch body language and remember whats the worst thing a woman can say ? No thanks.

  I am stuck in an age rut too. No idea where to find available men my age other than online. Pubs and clubs aren't my scene and I have no idea how to tell who is single anyway. In Melbourne there are a few over 35's clubs, no idea about Adelaide. Arrange a meet and greet in Adelaide with people off the site. Then you know those that attend are at least 'available' (I won't say single) but the odds will be stacked in your favour for picking up rather than the pub/club. You can get some great contacts for future too.

  Live music is amping up around adelaide and it's not the 18-25's going, it's generation x's. We have found it funny that our old haunts are frequented by the same crowd that did when were younger, most are seperated, divorced or just out for a good time!
