"Adult" Resorts???

October 17 2008

Hi there! We have decided to take a holiday, an "Adult" one at that. Have looked on the net and haven't found a lot of Swingers resorts close to Australia. We did find one in Thailand, the Rama Kien. Has anyone had any experiance with these types of resorts? Had fun there? Go again? Thought of going themselves? Love to hear from people who have had experience with adult resorts or who would like to meet up over there. Cheers, R n D ;-)

Their website is down at the moment. Could you please elaborate on what it's like? We've been looking for adult resorts in Australia, but so far have also been unsuccessful.

We are thinking of heading over (at this stage to the Rama Kien) in the first quarter next year. It seems that there are quite a few resorts in the Mexico / Caribbean region but the costs involved are too high to justify for a short getaway. Cheers R n D

Hedonism II and III are probably the best unfortuately in Jamaica. They are all about nudism but do have some parts that are sectioned off for those a bit shy. They hold swingers parties, orgies, naked sail trips etc even nude weddings if your planning something different with your close friends. Some of their parties are the best I have seen, they have a sexy event every night. A well thought out resort and very nice. I havent seen the end product for Hedonism III but what I saw from II I dont think you will have any complaints. The ages there are all ranges and all body types. Just ppl have great fun. They will have a website, so get googling if it is for you. Hope this helps. xxMiss Honeyxx

Desire at Los canos in mexico used to be great but as of 19 Feb next year it is going to be topless only (no nudity) and will also have no outside play areas (shame as the spa is enormous and can have over 50 people + in it) and also will allow singles... we will not be going again! Hedo is full of idiotic loons - so thats not an option ether.

Really? We've heard good things about it. What's bad about it? Please elaborate. We've always wanted to go there, but the cost is prohibitive. And unfortunately, there don't appear to be such types of resorts in Oz.

We have been told some stories from people who have been to this place. Personally we would not go there now even though its not that far from us.

if u can afford to go to france down the south is a huge nudist resort called cap d'agde it holds 40000 people at peak season, lots of swingers go there, they have asection of beach that the adults go to and anything goes, i have seen a lady get bukake'ed by 40 men in the dunes, at night the 20 swing clubs open and people walk around in there sexy/fetish wear, theres gangbang cl;ubs, couples clubs, gay and bi , bdsm, we're going back in 09 it is well worth the visit

Sounds like we oughta start our own adult resort, right here in Oz. Wonder if there's any laws against that sort of thing.

You only have to read the "six rules" on the white cockatoo place website to see what it's like. Doesnt sound good "day one, when you arrive you must strip off and be paraded around and introduced to everyone naked" . . and the best one "those with alternative sexuality choices should leave them at home"

all it would take would be a hotel to have a weekend every so often with "no kids, all fun adult's only weekend" and you'd fill up However, us bi people would be likely left out!

Is a great place to head if your looking for an 'adult' resort. Check a few other 'swing' sites as often they book the place for a full week and depending on what outcome you are looking for these help. Late July and August is good we went there as part of our honeymoon (planned as there was a Bi-girl week on) and I had the best time. A great pool and spa and being all inclusive your don't want for anything. There are some rules re 'playing' in public but nothing to bad and after dark things really come to life. The resort is being a hot spot for people from the UK to head too as well now. There are a few resorts that have opened up in Mexico now and from a travel point of view are a lot easier to get too (and quicker). Look at some of the 'Super Clubs' covering those two areas. Also keep in mind if travelling to this area about hurricane season, while you might want to get blown on the trip this is not the way you would want too. ;) Hope that helps Love Vic xxxx

Totally agree with anyone who has heard bad reports about this place - we had a very strange experience and would never go near the place again.

Well we have booked for March '09 when it is an adults resort. The rule about having to parade naked is not used then, because that is a nudist resort rule which it is not then. We booked because all the info they have published along with a lot of nice comments we've heard and read from people who have been there. We keep seeing a lot of negative comments in various places with innuendo towards something that might have happened there or 2nd hand comments from friends of friends but nothing ever concrete with names, dates, and places, so we will continue to take them with a grain of salt. We are looking forward to our visit and if the group they have set up for others going to communicate is anything to go by it is going to be a lot of fun. We wonder whether the owner may actually court controversy though as it appears to work for him very well with March apparently almost booked out. We think we can be the perfect hosts ourselves so it will be interesting to see if the owners there live up to their reputation of being that as well. Cheers P&T

Try googling "swingers resort australia" and this is 4th result on the first page - White Cockatoo Resort closes doors to swingers - Nudist-Resorts ...4 posts - 3 authors - Last post: 27 Oct "The White Cockatoo", a resort in Australia, details a change in policy for its nude use to exclude swingers. To all that matter, ... www.nudist-resorts.org/talk/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1401 - 127k Swingers event in March 09 - Talk about hypocrisy!

The rule about having to strip naked and parade around to be introduced to all the other guests DOES apply while it is an adult resort. Happened to us despite arriving late after a long drive and being sick all day. Those were the rules we were told and no negotiating sick or no sick !! The incident you may have heard about could have been us, we had a very strange experience, to be on the safe side and for legal reasons we should not go into name and details but police were called and we got out as quickly as we could but not before some really strange stuff. I would not pay your money if you are booked until you get there and are really sure you want to stay.

Guys, Sorry but it seems others here, that are going as well in March, must have watched this thread and asked the question directly in the March Month forum... We're happy with the response, and will continue with our gut feeling of CAN'T WAIT FOR MARCH! So the edited version is: "...we have been noticing a lot of goings on in different internet groups and places with all sorts of stuff being said. Most of it is obviously silly BS stuff but one thing has been said that we would like to be sure about. Someone said You only have to read the "six rules" on the white cockatoo website to see what it's like. Doesnt sound good. "day one, when you arrive you must strip off and be paraded around and introduced to everyone naked" Someone replied (us actually here) Well we have booked for March '09 when it is an adults resort. The rule about having to parade naked is not used then, because that is a nudist resort rule which it is not then. Someone else replied The rule about having to strip naked and parade around to be introduced to all the other guests DOES apply while it is an adult resort. Happened to us despite arriving late after a long drive and being sick all day. So what is the rule?" Their response was: > So what is the rule? The rule is very simple, and thanks for asking. March '09 is very clearly Clothing Optional - Adults Only - Almost Anything Goes! A totally clothing optional adults only month with almost no rules applicable! That is what we have promised and that is exactly what we will provide. Would we prefer guests to be nude in March '09? Yes. (but that is simply because we personally do not enjoy being nude around dressed people therefore we'll likely be fully dressed ourselves for March '09. Maybe a blessing... lol) Will we ask, or even force, guests to be nude? Absolutely not! Any comment suggesting people being forced to be nude is always related to our Nudist Season where a strict nude only policy is enforced. It constantly amuses us that people make a reservation for that season, and are advised about our policies well in advance, but then get here with sudden migraines thinking that's a way around it! And then complain afterwards.. .. Dear me.... To clarify... Only real rules for March '09, for the protection and privacy of all guests here are: No Cameras, Full Stop, without our express permission. (Naturally there will be occasions when some photos are allowed to be taken, but in strictly controlled situations.) No illegal drugs. We can do without being busted or closed down 1/2way through the month! And one which is not really shown, but is self explanatory, is No-one but current registered guests are permitted on the property. Again self explanatory. These simplistic rules apply 24/7 throughout the month of March '09 and it is obviously assumed all attendees will respect and understand them.... Tony & Lenore." Looks Great To Us...

Well here's hoping that there will be another Passion in Paradise which was a fantastic weekend held by Kat Parties near Pt Douglas, why we liked it is that there was no preconception as to what was going to happen their although their was a detailed format to the event which was totally your choice to particapate , thankfully it turned out to be a well organised weekend of parties , leisure and sex.... so kitten if your read this thread when is the next one because we have had so many N.Q people contact us to find out what it was like of course we could only say "FANTASTIC". If you want to have a 5/6 Star experience, and don't mind some over the top Americans and the possibility of being there when a large group is in attendance, then Desire Resort CANCUN is the place to go. All inclusive, which means everything, including top shelf drinks. Meals are great. The worst bit is the cost of getting to Mexico. And always stay for at least a week!

Nice analysis of the resort. Thanks. A good unbiased report with no agendas. Had been tempted to go but think we could find plenty of clothes optional places/beaches around NQ. If anyone knows of any nice beaches/hideaways please feel free to list them here.
