What makes you think women don't get criticised for this...they are called cougars,dirty old women DOW there have been quite heated discussions here about this topic..Younger men older women ..Does age matter etc ..just do what feels right for you xxFreya

It comes down to what age difference you are comfortable with. Many people draw the line at having sex with those the same age or younger than their own children. My comfort zone is 15+ years older than my eldest meaning 40 and over. I would hate to be introduced to a play partners friends who are also in the same circle of friends shared by my kids. That would be very awkward! I prefer to meet people my own age because I want to connect with them on a mental level as well as a physical one. LG

My ex husband was 12 years my junior, we were friends and he didn't know my age, when we started dating he didn't care, I did. I got over it because no one else cared. It lasted 10 great years but we did grow apart. I didn't plan it but I wouldn't go there again. As long as it's a legal age its whatever you're comfortable with. - Posted from rhpmobile

as long as it's legal then go for it. I've done young and I've done older than me. Some young are good some are not same as some older are good and some aren't. I don't think you can make generalizations. I have a preference for an ongoing fwb to be around my age, however a young hot thing is nice to have occasionally to. In my experience with online sites it appears that lots of men on their 40-50 want the younger women and they want the older men to, i think it's very common.

At all with older males seeking younger women. A lot of younger ladies actively seek older men as they prefer the experience they can deliver. A couple of years back I was dating a woman 20 years my younger. She said I had what was known as 'mad skills'. Which got me thinking - I asked her if she'd ever had anything other than 10 seconds of foreplay followed by three minutes of jackhammering by blokes her own age, and she said no. It's still ok for men to marry women half their age and more than one at a time, but not so for women. Men get called dirty old men because often that is how they act. Women get called all sorts of names in all areas of their lives. Research has been done on the number of derogatory names that are gendered and women win out with the greatest number by far. - Posted from rhpmobile

Age shouldnt matter, unless its absurdly inappropriate or illegal. Connection and enjoying each others company is what counts. Life is for living and being happy. My motto is this. When Im old I want to look back and smile, not think "I wish I had"

I have age limits (30 to 50), would I go below or above them for the right person, yes of course I would. But I couldn't be with someone that was the same age or younger than my kids, I can't get my head around it, I just can't do it. I'm generally more attracted to younger men, than men my age or older, but I think this stems from my ex husband who was 7 years older than me, so I've only really been with men younger than me since I left him 16 years ago, (apart from a few gorgeous older men I've met through here)....💋

In one case I'd found a couple that hosted the perfect parties for me (right up my alley/interests), but I was under their age range. I successfully contacted them whilst hoping I was good enough to make an exception, but while they appreciated my efforts it was still a no, as that particular reason was the one they gave for their age preference. While most people assume I am a little older than I am on appearances, I'd never lie about my age (or anything else) for any benefits.

I have never been criticized for being involved with some one younger. The biggest age difference between my self and a lover was 27 years (she was 23). There are any number of reasons why younger women will like older men. Older men liking younger women can also be a number of reasons. A lot are for ego other because they are Daddy doms. Personally I think that criticism based on the age of your lover is just plain stupid. LC

When I was about 19 I was hit on heavily by a uni professor in her 50s. She had spent a bit of time getting to know me and I did like her but when it became obvious why she befriended me, I guess I felt the same as a young woman being hit on by an older man. She was very persistent despite my initial polite and then firm No Thank You's. From that day I have cringed whenever I see older guys hitting on young women. That said, I have had 2 good relationships with women 15 years younger than me. Both liked the company of older men and had a history of dating older men. Both still friends to this day.

I thought most of us here in the forums would be looked upon by the general vanilla population as being deviants!Well I hope so anyway, I quite like the title and take no shame in deviating from the norm. Both of us have had the pleasure of a sexual interlude with partners 20+ years our seniors. And I hope we get the chance to be with some that we have 20+ years on, when we reach the age that such activities will be within the bounds of the law.It was an experience we both wanted to have, not something we were actively seeking and through chance the opportunity arose for both of us on separate occasions and we enjoyed it immensely. The joys of the lifestyle we live and the social stigma of it all. Someone's always going to be unhappy but in all honesty as long as you're happy within yourself, the partner you're with be it older or younger is happy and you're acting within the bounds of the law. Does it really matter what someone else thinks? I personally answer this question with a big resounding 'No'... Only you can answer it for yourself :) Mr Bear

creepy women, ouch. I can see the issue with older people hitting on younger people in the real world. Shocking for you nocreativity, that the professor persisted, even after you'd said no. That's really wrong, and offensive. And I can completely understand why you would find that creepy. She shouldn't have done that. The reality is there are a small number of young guys who want to play with much older women, in the current day, they'll be found online. Out in the world, most young guys wouldn't be interested, might fantasise maybe but that would be it, and the reason I never hit on anyone in the real world (I just perv and hope they'll come and talk to me haha which they never do. I hate that). The age gap for me and certain friends has been huge let's say, couldn't give a rats what age my children are, what does that have to do with anything? I figure if my age is just a number to a young guy, why should I judge his age? Simple as that. I do put a lot more time into communicating with younger guys, and if I sense any hesitation at all, for whatever reason, or that they might not be comfortable, I stop it straight away. Some guys are really into not just older women, but women in general, and want to lap up all they have to offer, bloody good for them, wish some of the older guys could learn from them. Prefer to hook up with guys who have already been with older women, that sits better with me. So truth, biggest gap was 33 years younger, this year of course, so the guy was 18, few 19 yr olds, not for a while though, loads in the mid to high 20's and some early 30's. My preferred age is high 20's, I've found them to be awesome and single, once you hit the 30's and 40's, you're kind of swimming around in the married pool, just less complicated with younger ones and hot as mmm
