Horn3t I can only speak from my experience. I’ve never lost interest in my partner of 14 and half years . I have sadly had periods where ‘real life ‘ issues have definitely put a halt to my libido . Such as death , financial stress , work , children and ill health , to name a few. That in no way is a reflection of how I feel about my significant other half . We ride the storm together and the libido returns . That’s just life .

Thank you for sharing, I think what you say certainly is the type of answer I was looking for. It's not as black & white or cut and dried as some might like to think.

My libido is definitely more affected by my mental and physical health rather than how I feel about my partner. It’s more a personal thing.

Bullet dodged.I told her I didn't think she was 100% right and now she's blocked me and buggered off.

Stress! Stress will have huge affects on libido either negative or positive. I find my desire for sex goes up when I’m stressed but I enjoy sex more when I’m not. Mrs has a pretty high libido to match but if the kids have worn her out physically and mentally or there’s something stressing her out then often she won’t be able to forget it and lose herself in sex.
