Anybody else forget it was Saint Valentine's Day

If it wasn't for the google header and all the mentions in youtube videos i probably wouldn't have noticed. Also, don't be a sucker. There's a "Saint" in there. Don't let hallmark take ownership of a day dedicated to someone who was so awesome they were canonized. They've already subjugated Christmas. At least by nearly forgetting this year it wasn't a reminder of my terminal singleness.

Guilty ? For the first time ever ' l forgot to get something for the lovely Mrs Sawadee. In my defence ' i was so involved with work that it slipped right on by and l completely forgot. So did Mrs Sawadee forget ? Nooooo , she presented me with this nice little white bear with " l love you " sign around its neck , so me being the generous type that l am ' told her we could share... now ain't that nice ? 🤗

I didn't forget as I went on an under 40s boat cruise for singles on that day. An evening cruise and a nice night out but no dating prospects arising, so I will be likely still looking for the similar again on or around Valentine's Day next year :p

I don’t get Valentine’s Day. If you treat your partner with love, respect, attention, support and generosity isn’t it just business as usual?

I didn't forget, its not a day I celebrate, Easter, St Paddy's Day ,Christmas, Birthdays Yes.
