'Where's this door go? Ohhh, adjoining rooms! Who would have thought?' 'Michael Jamieson? As I live and breathe!' Hahaaaaa! Mind you, they would have had more credibility if they'd been drinking Carlton Draught, or Wild Turkey (not the syrupy post mix cans, actual Turkey over ice with cold water...... - Posted from rhpmobile

Of the great Aussie Barbie...a grand tradition dating back centuries...well at least a couple of decades:)...where else can men compare the length, breadth and thickness of their sausages.Oh and don't forget the flavour and texture..and while the sausage is being consumed.what man could resist the sight of his mates mouth.covered in delicious white and frothing foam..XX Freya

That mid strength is loaded with dextrins, unfermentable sugars, to give body and flavour because it needs a boost for being mid strength...

Have been to a certain establishment quite a few times on a Saturday night and there will be some really hot girls there obviously alone and by the way they are smiling and swaying their hips obviously looking for a bit of attention Then in the other corner will be groups of guys guzing their beers or skulking their shots not paying any attention at all to these girls !!! When I was that age it was so different , the guys were always trying to hit on anything that moved!! Maybe they have become a bit desensitized to it all .... - Posted from rhpmobile

I spent my youth not Interested in Aussie guys. I thought they were very uncouth or just plain boring. Exotic was my interest and not necessarily a conscious decision at all. Since reaching maturity though I've come to the conclusion that Aussie guys just like playing hard to get but when they get warmed up. Well all I can say is 'hold on tight it's a hell of a ride' 😳😳😳😂😭😎😎 oh stop being so god dammed shy !!!!

They're the same, but yes they crack me up.... I would always sit with the boys at the BBQ, they seem to more fun, drink more and laugh louder..... just the wild turkey over ice thanks Twisted, hold the water...💋

the beginning of my move to Australia I thought I have never med such un polite males in my life. Yes men have been standing in one corner and women in the other. Men have shaking males hand to say hello and not the woman's hand.....I thought wow how rude. I had to learn it was a different culture to my German one.

And know a few more Aussie blokes like it. Hubby and I were sitting on our bed, having just a lovely chat. His phone rings, a friend ( I work with his wife) of ours, inviting hubby to go over to go shooting on their property ( yes licensed, the rabbits shot made delicious rabbit sausages etc). Hubby gives me the puppy dog eyes knowing full well this is the night for action, kids in bed, he and I in the same room at the same time, the possibilities endless. Being the good wife I am, I relent, yes honey it's fine, go shooting. Next day at work, our friend's wife catches up with me. She apologizes for her unfriendly behaviour towards my hubby, but she was angry at her hubby and both men incurred her wrath ! Her hubby chose to call my hubby to go shooting. Our friend hadn't realized his wife was waiting in bed for him, their first 'childless' night in over 8 months. Mary xx

Maybe the advertisers are actually doing Society a favour by giving young males all the opportunities to recognise negative behaviour? It would pain me to think that such a stereotype exists in social settings, am I naive to think that this inability of the male gender to strike a chord with the opposite sex still exists...it is the 21st century after all is it not? After recognising said behaviour brought to our attention by 50zcool, some years back as a younger male it was decided that different male friends could be found, since it seemed superficial levels and an inability more so to process emotions seemed acceptable. In working in predominantly all male industries over one's working life it is actually really promising to note that so many of the younger blokes are more open with what they are about, how they think AND feel and with this it gives me great hope to think that negative Gender stereotypes are in fact softening over time. Sorry if one has read too much into the question poised by you 50zcool, though consider it a shame if there were in fact "Carlton Mid widows" out there.....for both sides. Cheers, Nathan.
