Mooka you've made a number of valid points... but like the idiosyncrasies of political correctness... I expect that anyone pointing them out will be treated as committing an unpardonable sin? The most obvious double standard is marriage... though swingers and I guess married women seeking married men are exempt. The get out of jail card for swingers is having their husbands consent for a one-on-one dalliance with a single bloke while the hubby is at work. The only criticism is where there are cases of dishonesty and hypocrisy... obviously this does not apply to people who are open and upfront. But it's a case of player beware of the grave risks they are taking. Penis amputation whilst sleeping is not totally unheard of. It's not a level playing field as women are in demand no matter what shape or size. Guys with six packs declare an attraction for BBW yet an obese bloke is unlikely to get the same treatment in return. Maybe it's because the guys are a hungrier lot and this gives the women an advantage... according to the laws of supply and demand. Put 100 women on a desert island with one short, fat bald guy and the stakes may be different. But then knowing my luck, the women will all turn lesbian :)

Mooka you're 100% correct dude. But we can't blame the women completely, i'm afraid the male's raging hormones and desire for women or sex has contributed greatly to this phenomena. You can compare it to the affects of alcohol..... When most men see a tit or vagina, his brain moves to his penis, all rational thoughts fly out the window, the woman now looks like a model instead of a shrivelled up beached whale. Thus, women have an abundance of these walking, brainless, zombies with erections to choose from. As for the overweight, decrepid man - he also has his share of women that require his services. He just needs a matching overweight wallet and be thoughtful enough to let his new young bride to play with the guys with the 6 packs every now and then.

You dare bring up such a topic, lol. Surely you've been married before and know better. THE WOMAN IS ALWAYS RIGHT! Logic, reason and fact does not enter the equation when arguing with a woman. I find it both wrong...No double standards with me.. And yes i ask for guys with big cocks but then thats me i prefer them big i reakon they feel awesome..But then i am honest straight up when i am chatting to a guy i state what i want.. The single girls and couples can afford to be more picky, when it comes to single blokes... Let's face it, it's just a case of "the numbers game" on these sites... So naturally whatever the single girls' or couples' rules/preferences are (whether they appear like double standards or not) then they are free to express those in this forum. Consider it free advice, to enlighten some of the single guys on how to approach single girls and couples. Lets face it, some guys need a lot of advice Trev <<

I think you are spot on - but that is the spot on answer to a different question IMO That addresses the supply and demand, sure, but not the double standard where (for example) some people are maligned as shallow for only being after features X,Y and DD ;) but others after feature A,B and C happily pass it off as "thats what I'm into".I think most guys understand the supply and demand problem.. .don't they? But I can imagine its a bit frustrating dealing with the points the OP made.My own view: Like others have said, yes they're being hypocritical. It is fine to ask for what you're into - but don't have a go at others who are doing the same thing.

In my experience I tend to notice double standards are more common in those who are insecure for some reason or another so they will happily do what they feel but not like that same trait in another person as it is too intimidating or threatening... I know I have been guilty of this in the past, and I hope I am learning and improving with experience. I don't like double standards, but then I am sure many of us have been guilty of them at some point, the best we can all do is be honest and respect the feelings/rules/opinions of others....and be cautious of pointing the finger at others and their faults when we all have our share. I do understand what you are saying Mooka, and RHP ad this lifestyle is the perfect breeding ground for such double standards and hypocrisy due to the very nature of what we do here. xx Salina

double standards mooka?...that's a tough one...yes, women have different standards to men...does this make for double standards...i don't necessarily think soexpectations destroyed....hopes dashed...confronted by liars and cheats....short people when you expected taller...bitch about this, bitch about that....these are issues i confront at work each day from both men and women...and that is at a bank...!!!...lolwhen you see something which gets your goat...irritates the bejeeves out of you...consider that maybe you are gazing into a mirror at something which is reflected from inside of you...and rather than judge and get cross...wonder what you can do to change yourself so that you are a better personand live in love and lightcheersjose....

I suppose i was just considering why some people have double standards. Although no one likes to think of themselves as hypocrytes, I'm sure if we were all put in a position were we had 10 people of the opposite sex in front of us all wanting us, most would naturally choose the person meeting the highest standards to suit their needs (whether that be sorted by looks, personality, weight, height, size, shape, smell, grooming, lifestyle, etc)..even if you didn't meansure up to our own high standards. Hence Supply and Demand may be the "root" of the problem. Trev - Like what i did there droping in the word root ?..ok lame..I'll shuddup my face now

Firstly, I wish people would read! As I stated in the first line, I was not whinging, bleating etc. I was making an observation. I actually find the antics of what I saw extremely humerous (in a sad, pathetic sort of way). I just found it strange that people could be so superfical, so obvious with their double standards yet no one would dare comment on them. And FFS, I was not dumping on women, I did use at least one example of male double standards. It is just the female examples are more prevelent duty to the fact very few males would make any comments about it. For example: If a guy in the chat room stated he was only after slim, blonde gals with big boobs and anyone else please don't contact him, the room would erupt. Some of the women would textually rip his balls off, and enough guys would join in the fight to try to get on the good side of the girls. Yet if a woman stated she will only talk to guys with a 9" cock and a six pack, half the guys would suck in the gut, adjus the zoom on the cam and yell "look at me look at me" and no one would say anything else. I do agree with Mr Puppy, some of us guys seem to have a magic mirror that shows them as they THINK the look, not as how they actually look. They have this fantasy image of the perfect woman (and no problem with that), it is just the way they go on about it with no regard to reality and expect that type of woman to race to them, then get bitter and twisted when it doesn't happen. Our resident grouch Mr Whitehawk is a classic example. This is slightly off topic (hey it is my thread and if I want to take it off topic I can lol). I think a lot has to do with the attitude of the guy. I am a perfect example: overwieght, old, definitely not handsome and not rich. Yet I have dated some of the most gorgeous ladies. I put it down to being polite, cheeky and knowing my limits. A lot of the women originally rejected me but a simple "thank you fortaking the time to respond" msg sometimes shows that a bit of class can work. I must admit I haven't raced some of these women off to bed on the first date (some never), but I never have a problem get one of them to accompany me to a function either. The only reason I am not in a relationship is that I have found due to my age (and the age of the ladies), we all have settled lives and a lot don't want a "live in the pocket" type of relationship. But I am happy, is there anything better than that! We all have standards, even if some won't admit to having them. It is how we exercise those standards and how we treat those that fall outside of our criteria that shows if we are good people or not.

I'm over the moon and frankly up until now I've thought I was kinda average but el groucho has made me reconsider... I'm married to a hot woman who loves me dearly, she's smarter than me, earns more money than me, can cook if she can get me out of the kitchen and just loves to invite gorgeous people into our bed for nights of wild abandon.Now there's no way in hell I could get all this unless I was ridiculously good looking, I'm still trying to find this damn six pack I'm supposed to have.
