Hi All,We are travelling to WA and spending NYE in PerthCan anyone suggest the best place to party for that particular night as we would like to book a hotel?We are thinking a suite at the Hilton with lots of room to play. Is that area over looking the Swan the best place to be or should we be looking at Fremantle?Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.C&D

Hi Letsgocrazy09 I would say Perth as there is more to do in Northbridge. Only a few night spots in Freo.

Having worked and stayed in most of the venues around perth, I would suggest the Sheraton for views, and the Duxton for location. Sheraton rooms are really nice, and riverside rooms overlook the swan River. Duxton is a little bit more central if you plan on walking anywhere, and their suites are quite nice. Some have river views. Hilton rooms overlook the road, and a construction site, depending which side youre on! :) Depending where your interests lie, Burswood could be a good option. Its a bit further out of town (bout 5 mins east of Perth CBD) but the rooms are quite nice, and youve got a casino, a night club, and a bout 5 pubs of different styles all in the one complex. What no fireworks over the river????I guess they will be in the room. Hopefully we get to meet a couple of locals to help light the fuse
