Aussie and Kiwi musicians, bands, venues, concerts, festivals etc

January 24 2025

Many Aussie and Kiwi musicians, singers and band members were 10 pound poms meeting in the camps and hostels , an awesome beginning and connection for both nations and our music industries. My dad was a 10 pound pom, glad he made the voyage to Australia. I remember thinking how Airbourne reminded me of AC/DC at the time. 2003 was the first time I took my daughter to a Rolling Stones concert. She loved it. As someone who was ostracised and bullied within my own healthcare field I know how damn hurtful and isolating this time was and it’s left permanent scars on my soul. It’s also connected me with some of the true carers in this world. Maybe if we keep networking we might have enough presence to awaken those that love to stay blissfully unaware.
