Balancing Act- The swinging lifestyle and Family life

November 02 2017

So we're only fairly new to the swinging scene, been here and only here on RHP for about 2 years now **Hi anyone we haven't spoken with and thanks for having us to everyone else** and we see and have met a lot of young and young-ish couples on here, some we know and others we could only assume, have young families such as ourselves. We've met couples varying from; being comfortable with their kids being at home at the time, through to the complete other end of the spectrum. We're lucky enough to have quite a large support network (some who know but others suspicious or oblivious, lol) and have managed thus far to get in some serious playtime but we anticipate things will only get more tricky as our family ages. So I suppose our question goes out to those who have, those who do as well as those who would like to; What, how, where and when? How do you perform your balancing act? - Posted from rhpmobile

Definitely having family around helps with the baby sitting duties but as time goes on there is only so many reasons to give for you going out again. Especially if you weren't regularly going out before kids. So it does get a little trickier as time goes on. I'm sure the inlaws suspect something but they've stopped asking questions. Anyway it's always worth the effort we reckon

We have reasonably easy to babysitters in the form of grandparents, but we would both probably be comfortable playing with the kids at home (and in bed asleep!) with an established person/couple we have already met a few times. - Posted from rhpmobile
