I'm pretty sure you need to pay with a credit card. Plus, this is the Internet! Anything on here is here forever. Also I assume you want to meet people in real life, if you live in a small town then chances are you'll have to meet people that live in your community. My advice is to work on communication with your wife, and explain how much you want to participate in this fantasy. Trust me, even though cheating might seem like the best way, it may give you what you want, but it will cause all kinds of pain for your wife once she finds out. That's actually a clever idea. Yes you can buy credit cards as gifts for people and the card can be used anywhere. You can buy these at the Post office, Westfields and maybe even Coles or Woolies where they have the gift cards. Check it out.

You can get a prepaid credit card that doesn't come with paper. You can reload over the counter with cash. Only traceable by legal means

I'm not sure the op asked for marital advice, but got it anyway 😉 Yes I'm pretty sure a family member used a prepaid credit card on a recent overseas holiday, even hotels require a credit card. So I think you should be able to do it without the paper trail, but like others have said, check with the site 😃

my concern for you would be that if you're lacking the technical nouse to figure out even prepaid VISA/Mastercard cards, you're going to get caught out. That said, you can buy prepaid visa cards using cash, but that is leaving points on the table, buy them using your AMEX during a regular shop at Woolies/Coles, pickup 3 points per dollar, put the points towards first class flights to the Maldives - with that sort of plan, the wifey can hardly be angry if she does figure it all out! (Don't forget to scan your coles/woolies card and transfer the points over to Virgin/Qantas for a double dip)

As many others have advised 1)"load and go" prepaid credit cards are available at Australia Post shops for $6.95 2) Try communication if you haven't already.
