Benefits of online RHP friends

August 18 2016

Are there any benefits to befriending people on this site (as opposed to making friends with benefits, ha ha)? Or is it just a "look how big mine is? (My friend list, that is!) Thanks for your time.

If they're really your friends....... ... they're in your phone contacts.

Ive made some awesome friends on here. Its been a very unexpected bonus about being on RHP. And when I say friends, I mean people I care about. We socialise together and are there for one another. I can have a social night at my house and have both RHP and non RHP friends, everyone gets along and we have some great nights and great fun. I go to social nights at their houses, and we do the normal things like going out for dinner/shopping etc. I cant imagine my life without these lovely people now. And the guys Ive met on here, I count as friends too. So my answer is, Yes, there are countless benefits to having friends from RHP. Ive made a few friends interstate, most I have met but one or two have yet to meet, hopefully we will though, in Adelaide in October. As long as Im waffling on here, Id just like to say to my RHP friends, thank you for coming into my life and Im so happy that we met and hit it off. Mr and Mrs W, thank you so much for yesterday. Blew me away xxx

You are judged by the company you keep? Friends list means nothing at all, we have a few people that we've met and they also have no friends listed on their profile. We have in the past had validations but it made no difference to the attention we receive.

Having friends from here is very different from normal real life. But it is real life at the same time. Where else can you meet someone socially and within minutes be talking about your latest fuck instead of mindless banter about the weather. Different strokes for different folks. The other night there were 3 of us from pie comparing who had hit who up, who was next and who was worth a revisit and who was a timewaster. Different for us all. But there is no doubt a true friend from pie is no different than a vanilla true friend. Just there can be more to discuss with your pie buddy.....

Of course the social benefits of friends, wherever you find them, are enormous. But there is no benefit to adding people to your friend list? No enhanced email, video or other feature? So the RHP Friends feature is basically valueless except as an (unreliable) guide to what kind of person you are? ...and a measure of how big yours is! - Posted from rhpmobile

...the benefits of making friends on here are just the same as when you make friends on Facebook or in the workplace. You'd be building a network with the people you like...or just don't dislike. It's harmless. But, having "Friends" on your list is a bit irrelevant in this place, I think. On Fb, naturally, your friends list is what feeds your news stream...on here the Forums and other places fill that function without the need for input, and the ability to private message anyone you want is still there. So... **shrugs**

Mhmm. I think as an actual feature, RHP friends only gives you their posts and activity in your main feed, and their birthday notification?? No enhanced email, video feature. But people treat friend lists vastly different. Some people are collectors, some people it's a fuck list, some people a simple friend list and also a mix. For me it's people I've met and and think are lovely. It's not a fuckbook list. That I keep secret ^^

Get notifications of which events and parties your friends have expressed interest in. May make up your mind of your own intentions if in 2 minds of attending. No different to FB. Except more interesting parties.....

Annie, Now that's something we were not aware of. Always thought the feed was somewhat random. Party invitations always welcome. Xx R&J - Posted from rhpmobile

..you have a life or not, out side of RHP, in my opinion as to what benifits you gain. The ony benifit I see is if you're an event organiser then people will see you've posted an event in their feed.. - Posted from rhpmobile

We use the friends function basically to keep up to date with goings on. We also use it as a first contact list when we're hosting an event as we've met pretty much everyone on our list and enjoyed their company so if hosting an event they're the first port of call. Really wish they'd turn off the notifications on when people like a forum posting though, as a few of the beautiful ladies on these forums are quite prolific likers of posts lol. But we love 'em regardless ;)
