  well the first thing is it is a couples only bar. You say it is you and your wife. Yet you have a single male profile here. The only way for you to find out is for you and your wife to go there.

  We go to Between Friends regularly and find it to be a good place to meet up with people, mingle, have a few drinks and see if leads to some play upstairs. As far as being a couples only venue, yes this is correct for the majority of the nights/events, but they do have a MFM night every 4-6 weeks, in which a number of single Ms can attend after being vetted by the hosts/owners. As Mr Freeplay said, he is coming to Melbourne with Mrs, so he doesn’t have to worry about the single/solo M situation.

  BFWB is *not* just for couples. It is for single ladies and often opens for single males for various themed evenings. Just to clear that up. It’s a good little venue! Easy to get to if you stay in the city, or lots of parking close by and is nice and discreet if that’s what you need. The host is really welcoming and the downstairs area you’ll find is just like a typical bar before the night starts warming up. There’s lockers for your bits and pieces, and a place to put your clothes for dress down. Majority of the play is upstairs, where you will need to dress down to head up there. It’s smaller and intimate, I’d definitely recommend giving it a go. Have fun!

  Just check what events they have on, We booked flights early then nearer to the date found the night we wanted to go there was an under 35's night so alas we were not able to check it out.

  For us ,it’s Needs a dance floor , or something else to do besides chatting while buying their wine and nibbles ,for us doesn’t offer much for the price other than a meeting point and a chance to meet others within or newcomers trying out one aspect of the lifestyle and the potential to go upstairs and play on the trampoline beds,,those thing freak me out , and those that know us or more Particularly me ,,would know exactly why 😂😂😂😱😱😱😱 Mr b

  BFWB is an exciting starting point for this lifestyle! The friendly, flirty atmosphere makes it easy to explore without pressure. My husband and I have great memories from our first visit years ago; we loved every moment! It's a wonderful place to connect and enjoy the adventure together!

  BFWB is a great venue, but not massive. The beds aren't great but there are some couches and sex chairs which I've enjoyed testing out. A massage bench and a sex swing. Get upstairs early to not miss out on clean sheets and towels ;) As many places like this it can feel clicky so you will have to make an effort and approach people. It's a safe environment and people are screened before entering which makes the experience pleasurable. Good luck and enjoy

  I went there Friday night with a friend. Had an amazing time downstairs chatting with many people and a mind-blowing FFM interaction upstairs. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and accepting. Wear something spicy (or very little) whilst enjoying your drinks.

  We loved this venue! It was amazing for one of our first times experiencing a ‘play club’. Incredibly warm environment and we felt free to explore without expectation. We were lucky to meet a couple that showed us around and ended up playing alongside us in the sex swing room. Small enough venue to not feel overwhelmed.

  Between Friends is a great little venue and the crowd are all very friendly. The only thing I would say is the downstairs layout could be improved, to make it feel more like an upscale wine bar than a private club. There are also a lot of regulars there so it can feel intimidating attending as it appears everyone is clicky with their little groups. Thankfully it's not like that and if you make the effort to mingle and introduce yourself, everyone is really friendly and keen to get to know new people.
