Byron nude no more

August 14 2013

After a relaxing day on the beach with my beautiful girl , we were approached by two Police informing us that Greys Lane Nudist beach at Byron was no more after a recent council decision. A couple of complaints to council and police about certain behaviour has ended up with many of us now missing out on what is a relaxing day out. We have been going there for two years now and never had a problem. WHAT A SHAME, how can a few people spoil the lifestyle of so many without consultation of effected parties. Byron will notice the drop in visitors as it was surely a unique destination, Im sure Noosa will appreciate the extra visitors to the area.

We were planning on heading there this summer to enjoy. Hmm, where else is there to go other than the Sunny Coast for us peeps who live in the sticks?

WOW, you are kidding right? We love this place to relax, chill out and enjoy the sun. Are there any signs up stating this is no longer for nudists? I do know there were signs stating nudity may offend. If this is correct it will suck, we have been to Noosa and whilst it is nice, it is a bit of a trek.

...the people who decide for others never see the sun, sit inside with books a ruler and rubber ' pondering how to stuff up a relaxing lifestyle for others. Probally ashamed of their own bodies , so stopping others takes that threat away. Cretins...

The Byron Bay council are looking for a place closer to town. National parks do not want their rangers to be responsible for policing the nudist area. So Council need to find you all a new possie. So "bad boy, bad boy, watcha gonna do when they come for you"Mado

Byron Council is about to undertake some Community consultation . They are also deciding on a new , more remote venue . Unfortunately , the Issue is not about Nude Bathing , it's about people Dogging , openly and blatantly , in an area where people of all ages should be allowed to enjoy Nudism/Naturism . that's pretty farkd up . I use to live and work in Byron . If you cant go nude there then where can you go nude? cant believe people are complaining about nudity there. seems like people are becoming more and more prudish , especially younger people .This generation seems a lot more conservative than my generation . Growing up in the 80s/90s no one seemed to care about sex and nudity .These days it all frowned upon . Its all about keeping your virginity till old age and hateing slutty women and men as much as possible . I work in a kitchen with alot of younger folk and the stuff I hear them say these days , you would think they were training to be catholic monks or something lol They seem to like conservative women that over dress and look and act proper and constantly put down slutty women . I just cant relate to that , I love slutty women lol anyway I must be getting old lol

This area is also on Council's Agenda , for complaints about obscene behaviour . The lake is also a Sacred Aboriginal Women's birthing area, so they're also pretty pissed off . GG♒- Posted from rhpmobile

I was there 2 weeks ago with over 100 nudists. So I am guessing grays lane is still open for nudists.
