Chest/Stomach hair or not?

April 20 2015

Curious to know whether girls prefer a nice smooth chest and stomach or a more masculine and hairy chest and stomach??I seem to go through phases where I will remove chest and stomach hair but sometimes keep it as the hair is also masculine and nice. I have a moderate amount of chest and stomach hair so not to hairy. What is the most attractive???And what do most girls prefer??? Would love to know :D Thanks people ^^)

There was a study where test group of subjects were exposed (pardon the pun) to a serious of photos of mens torsos. The sample included those with body hair, and randomly, those same man minus all of the hair. Regardless of the muscularity of these men, without doubt the statistics favoured the less hairy. The theory which followed.... was that this natural selection is the reason why we are pretty much hairless compared to all other primates..... over thousands of years we have selected less hairy partners and passed those genes down through the generations. Make of that what you will. But, similar to your abs topic....... there is way more to attraction, than mere abs or body hair. Personality is the inevitable box to be ticked. BUT... by eliminating the broad list of factors which people find less attractive, you can elevate your own relative attractiveness.

I prefer very short clipped body hair on guys , though I hate body hair shaving stubble. I'm not a fan of lots of long body hair either.....however attraction is what it is, and body hair truly is not a big deal to me , you can't really control what life deals you there ! - Posted from rhpmobile

and from chatting to friends, it seems most women in my generation do (generalisation I know, hence the 'most'. It seems to be women under 30 who tend to get into the manscaping thing.

So I think I will be happy to leave my moderate amount of chest/stomach hair so far, my friend suggested that I should try shaving/waxing it for once...lol I guess I should embrace it and be proud of my masculinity ;P

I like chest hair going down to the groin and i also like to slip my hand down the front of a guys jocks and feel a nice, manicured bit of hair. There is nothing worse, in my opinion then a chest that is prickly because it's been shaved

I like both equally, unless the chest is smooth because it's been waxed...the resulting stubble when it's growing back is just not great :/. Much love,Elle xx

Some body hair on a man, it brings out the animal in me. I cant say why but its just so hot when a guy strips off and theres some chest and tummy hair..... Its sad that most of the younger guys think they have to wax everything off. I also prefer manicured pubic hair to nothing. I think ( stealing a Billy Connolly quote ) it can sometimes look like the last chicken in a supermarket at 5 oclock on Saturday?

is a trend and will most likely be replaced by something else. I like a man to be as he wishes.....and I ask the same in return I will not dictate......nor will I be dictated.

Go with what makes you feel like the best version of you. The minute you start doing things for the approval of women (or anyone else) you've lost the game.

Trimmed. Wouldn't pass up a guy who's waxed, but I agree stubble anywhere but a man's face is not for me. If you want to be and stay hair-free, laser is your friend, fellas!

The concept of hirsuteness being equated with masculinity. I naturally have little body hair, especially on my torso, am I less masculine for this? If you say yes, I'll have to arm wrestle to prove otherwise.

mind a bit of hair. But when you feel you need to roll him over and give him a tummy tickle and a pat............Its time to buy a trimmer.

Only a small amount.... Enough for the cologne to stick to so I get a little tickle when I get close and breathe him in..... I like to lick.... A lot.... And not keen on licking carpet.....

Quoting 'Fit73' Go with what makes you feel like the best version of you. The minute you start doing things for the approval of women (or anyone else) you've lost the game. If that were a 100% true representation of your attitude.... you wouldnt have a photo.... and certainly wouldnt be flexing in your photos.... unless.... flexing and posing in the bathroom appeals to you. I get your point.... but.... you know..... DG

It scratches but it's so sexy...

I was built with some body hair and I trim when needed (for my self) for me I think it's part of my make up and to be honest won't change the person I am or look like (we'll if like to look younger lol)

Love it, as long as it's not a fur coat. Love natural either way. Shaved/waxed is a no no. Trimmed is ok. Naturally little hair is great too. Current guy friend is hairy and totally self conscious of it to the point he tries to leave his shirt on when we have sex! I usually rip it off him lol. Mmmmmmm love his hairy body hehe. I don't even mind his back hair. I must be besotted. - Posted from rhpmobile

Great read Gal's n Guy's Some great comments and posts. I'm naturally hairy sometimes i feel a little self concious and not sexy so i shave or wax As the trend for single ladies tends to lean on the side of less hairy bodied guys, or is this my interpretation only. Reading here opened my eyes and saved a few razors ;-p DW

I wax mine monthly - it doesn't grow back prickly like it would if I shaved it but does grow back to about 10mm by the next wax. I do it for me rather than anyone else - I love the feel of smooth skin above, and below :)Interesting thread - would you go for IPL if it wasn't so pricey...?

True, save your coin as IPL only works if you have very dark hair. Being fair myself I tried it over a lengthy period of time only to find it wasn't successful. LG

Personally, I prefer a hairy chest, looks masculine and is great grip. I don't mind if a guy is naturally smooth chest. Because even smooth chested guys have snail trails ... yummmmBut I have to be honest, I find guys removing their hair a turn off. But I think I'm an outlier when it comes to that.

Naturally smooth or naturally with some chest hair is fine by me but not really into woolly bears (sorry!). Like HennaJay I find a snail trail very sexy on a man. The stubble that grows back after shaving a man's chest is a real turn off. In fact stubble anywhere is a huge turn off. I prefer hair natural or manicured. LG
