Christian beliefs vs Swinging Lifestyle

April 20 2014

Hey having just come from Easter Sunday service (no we are not practicing Christians, we got invited and said why not), we were wondering if there are any practising Christians out there who also partake in the Swingers lifestyle - not that we are judging or saying its wrong or right but interested in views of people and how they deal with their belief or contradictions of living in both worlds (if any of us do of course).....were not expecting many if any replies just putting it out there.....

if you were serious about Christianity then 2 of the ten commandments; "Thou shalt not covet" and "Thou shalt not commit adultery" kind of go against the swinging lifestyle just a tad. It would be naiive to think there aren't Christians out there who partake in the lifestyle though, however may not speak openly about it. but you never know. Isnt like the bible condemns sex with your partner but getting to the sharing stage gets a little tricky and some forgiveness here and there might need to be asked ;)

find that swinging started by a couple of naughty folk trying to get out of church and duck over to the next town to get all naughty with another couple who skipped church in their town, you know love thy neighbour. Then some became lords others the meek, it's all quite a way for spreading the word. Rod* is love and inside all of us, so then men became bi and so on, the Christian bloke got called dick and the ladies liked it. Oh hang on that was Richard. But god was spelt with an R and that got mixed up too. Praise our loving Rod and all shall prosper. Mado Tara xx

Knows no bounds. Just ask any catholic priest. It goes though out history, and covers all faiths In the end people do what people do, some get tied up in knots over faith and what they are supposed to do Is it real, or just crap made up by men to control others. I don't recall Jesus saying, take some dictation Paul, I have something to say it was written hundreds of years after JC left the building, bit like chines whispers really I mean really, in the bible there is the encouragement of incest, the hey how about putting your son on a fire, yeah, sorry just testing. Lets not forget the burning of witches, and all the other crap in the name of religion, and we go to church and think, god Mrs Smith looks hot in that frock, wonder if she likes a bit of cock on the side...ohh fuck off to confessional again for my unclean thoughts. When the secular meets the profane and ends up in the political arena, then look out, just ask any gay personevery blah blah anti gay will say its against gods law blahh blahh blahh but hey fiddle with a young kid its ok , so long as your a priest. so go forth young fuckers and swing. It doesn't really matter what you do,as long as you repent, you can do it again...Pope Gregory in the ninth century turned Mary Magdalene into a prostitute.....Eve of course was the original sexual temptress.....monogamy is a post agrarian concept.....swinging is older than Adam xx Q

and love lots of different things about lots of different religions. But being bi doesn't fit well with the beliefs of the Christians (or other man made organized religions) so I don't really feel right about going to church. I think that if you were a swinger, you might feel a little guilty going to church too......they tend to lecture people about 'morals' and whats 'wrong and right', Im not sure that swinging would be accepted by church people. I tend to let the universe guide me, teach me - I love and trust in the natural laws and my spirit guide / guardian Angel

In the small town I grew up in the highest rate of infidelity was amongst the seriously religious couples... most of the divorces were amongst the religious couples and those who didn't divorce only stayed together because of their strict religion. (There were a few studies performed by a students from my school when they were in Uni covering the subject... was too funny seeing some of it published in the local paper). That being said I don't think religion had much to do with it as it was more the social availability that comes from the regular interaction of the groups. However... the taboo of playing outside the limits set by the law (religious or otherwise) would add to the temptation. A very good friend explained to me her view... being a strict Catholic she said "I can do what I like 6 days a week as long as I go to confession on the 7th"... she is possibly the most promiscuous person I know and has absolutely no built about cheating on her husband. When asked about swinging she was repulsed by the idea as she gets very angry even thinking about her husband being with another person. In the end, religion is just a belief held by a person and the interpretation, including strict adherence, of the religion is based on what a person chooses to accept... so I think you will find a lot of Christians (and people from other religions) will swing and not feel guilt/repulsion just as you will find a lot of atheists who won't swing because of guilt/repulsion. Quoting 'ShyPrincess74' My life is complicated. I don't always make the best choices, but I'm trying to make the best choices I can for my life and my family. I don't expect anyone else can completely understand, and that's ok - I think people do a terrible job on the whole of judging others. Making the best choice for yourself and those entrusted to you is the most important thing in life. This is why the only judge of a person should be themselves. I think I understand you Shy :) I have an indescribable belief system and thus most of my decisions are based on how I judge myself, not on how a deity, higher power or other person would judge me. I see the "Christians" who wish to dabble in the Swinging lifestyle are catered for by their very own Christian Swingers Website. A site where like minded Christians can come together and bonk others and maybe be absolved of all their sins. Christian Swingers - New Dating Site For Faithful Couples Put Christian Swingers into Google and thou shall seek the enlightenment. Who is John Galt

I reckon mother nature has Rod under her thumb I know mums like to have sex or I would not have one And our kids mum Tara has a sex swing, she lets me, now and then a mate use it with her so we are real swingers. She often says "Oh my God" repetitively , I say "Oh no, it's my Rod" or "ours", depending on the moments. Amen
