Winter. I prefer Fragrances with warmer notes: Antidote by Victor & Rolf, Joop or Fahrenhiet by Dior. Summer. Aqua Di Parma, Vetiver by Creed( Milesime range) or Egoiste Platinum by Chanel. This is something you should learn about all fragrances. Their all unisex! it's only your scent and your societies acceptance that changes it. In western cultures men are often not willing to wear something with jasmine in it. But in asia it's quite appropriate. But in asia people aren't fond of coconut essense in the theirs. But in the wests it more favourable. My advice would be to search out somewhere more specialized than department stores or malls for your scent. A place I used to work at called Harrolds which has store in Melbourne and Sydney. Do the Entire collection of CREED. This is a french company thats has served all the royal families of europe for over 200 years. they do floral based infused fragrances. Infused is important because it means you use less of it, to get the same result as you would from mass produced crap. A fragrance they do that is perfect for summer is Imperial. Originally made for King Faisal( that guy Alec Guiness portrayed in Lawrence of Arabia). It's now Pierce Brosnan's personal fave. It's a light fresh and clean fragrance. My personal fave is one they make called Tabarone. Made in honour of Winston Churchill, and worn by him and others such as Humpfrey Bogart. Thry like how it settled with their cigar smoke. Dior copied it and made Fahrenheit. But it's a poor copy. I'ts masculine, rich but still fresh. Look for some italian fragrances too. Name such as Santa Maria Novella( made by monks) or Lorenzo Villoresi. Both make great herbal base(very traditional italian method) scents called Aqua Di Colonia. If you still searching Try a company called Etro. They make a sort of chemistry set. Made of base, Warm and summer notes that you can mix and much. Depending on your mood.

During winter also like the warmer notes of Hugo Boss 1, and Farenheightsummer time like L'aqua Dissey, by Issey miyakeOne point should be bought up is what works on some guys, doesn;t on others, as everyman has different base notes so to speak. Have to ind one that works for you.

I personally love Joop!....but get disappointed when the guy wearing it in not Joop-worthy! LOL!I like scents that are warm and creamy...especially if they have a hint of vanilla.I also like to smell the man underneath.Just make sure the scents you choose compliment each other and dont clash....ie....smell your shampoo, moisturiser, aftershave, and cologne. For my own scent....I make my own....and now that is my signature smell....so that could be a good idea.Just my opinion....BJxxx

Loveprod I like your post, i'll have to write them down and do some shopping I think, Well now I have to ask miss bj, what make a man Joop worthy? I used to wear Joop (andy here) and am thinking I should get it again. Now I use Fahrenhiet but I just don't like it as much (got it for free) I tell you one thing that both guys and girls should never ever ever ever wear around me. Linx, impulse or that Britney Spears 'curious' god damn it. Sets off my heyfever like no tomorrow. Plus guys if you actually do have bad B.O Lynx does not mask the smell. So not only are you stil stinky you're causing a wave of sneezing fits wherever you go. I like to look at these types of scents the same way I do alchohol. Alcolpops, that sweet sickly tasting soft drink, that's fine for people moving from soft drink to grown up drinks. Why a grown up would douse themselves in that ultra sickly sweet smell is beyond me? THat Britney scent i can smell for miles, and I always comment 'are you wearing britney' as it's the only scent I know and think 'did you just bath in that?' Ladies I like that natural just gone to the beach smell. Coconut with a little bit of salt on the skin (to be licked off to just before a shot of tequila). ] Andy

lOL...sounds so cheap. Got it as a gift. I find the farenheit very sexy, course nowadays Andys not so interested in impressing me anymore....already has me :P Mwah dahling ;) I don't really have a one fragrance preference for men or for women. Different poeple can wear the same sent quite differently. A clean smell is my preference and the slightest hint of a scent....Guess in someways that makes Andy and my tastes quite similar. I dont wear fragrance. I have shampoo and conditioner and body wash all scented with coconut and I like vanilla or cinamon also. xx Sal Oh...not gift from me...lucky, he would have been in big trouble for that! xx

yum yum nice smells in here!!! hehehe *takes a deep sniff* ohhhhh Tam.... BRUT! that HAS to be my alltime FAVE ... REAL men wear brut... yummmmm! lol. i have to admit though... i am a JOOP fan as well... oh god yes. theres also one that ive smelled on a few filthy rich men in passing... i have NO idea what its called but it makes me close my eyes, go weak at the knees and, uhhm erm.. well... my panties get a little soaked.... how embarassing... i would love to find out what that one is called...colognes are so good to smell on a nice clean man, although, after a really good romp i hope they become an undertone to the natural sweat and yummy natural smell that a man has... i love my after hot sex romp snuggles, kisses and being close. almost all of my products i use are Dove; shampoo, deodorant, bodywash, moisturiser. yum yum. i dont usually wear perfume but if i do i love vanilla soft musk, and lately something with a slight rose scent is appealing to me. keep sniffin all those sexy scents everyonelove jemma

Now Sister Sophie and Gaz...pay attention... I have found the ultimate scent...Armand Basi In Blue Sophie, as soon as you catch the delicate scent on your nostrils, you will go weak at the knees...a position I'm sure many a hot-blooded male on here would love to see you in. And Gaz, if Tammy walks past wearing it then I'm sure most of the ladies on here will finally get that show they've been craving ;) Enjoy guys and gals, Michael

So, thanks to Sophie and loveprod, I bought 100ml of Burberry "London" and I smell less funky. :p I've still got some YvesSaintLaurent "Live Jazz" but I couldn't find any Joop "summer"... there were lots of other Joops, just not that one. My son (19) uses Joop though so I figure it's a youngsters flagrance.. :p I wanted to also buy Antidote by Victor & Rolf but there's no such beast in my suburban shops... looks like a trip to the city to loveprod's previous place of employment... to look for the Antidote and the Capri Orange by Acqua Di Parma. What a great source of information this site turned out to be. Hugs Gazza

On men I adore CK Eternity or Escape. My own personal favourites for me are Issy Miyake and CK Eternity Moment. Got to love good quality scents.......but then again........sometimes the raw natural clean smell of someone beats manufactured scents hands down. :)H xx

I don't wear a lot these days, but in my youth there was a sure fire combination that had the girls (and a lot of older women) begging to teach this shy, young guy a thing or two.The recipe is as follows:1/ Leave clothes strewn around bedroom for mum to pick up2/ Mum takes clothes to laundry and washes with 50% water and 50% Apple concentrate softener3/ Wash thoroughly (your body) and apply silly amounts of Brut 33 (do they still make it?)4/ Hold breath and apply clothing and wait for apple and Brut to mix together5/ Walk around with shy but cheeky smile and always be nice!Oh if my mother knew what a help she was to my sex life!!!

I'll be keeping my olfactory orifices wiiide open for you Mr Pup... mmmm... I remember asking friends what fragrance they were wearing to be told it must be the apple softener which I then used for many years. I do skip the softener in the wash these days and use the sun fragrance in wash powder instead InYourDreams... I'm a Brut33 lover from waaay back! My other long time fav is Blue Stratos. But over all... less is best! Hugs allMrs Peachy

Joop seems to be the catnip for discerning women lately but has become a lil too commonplace. So rather than smell like every Joe nowadays there's some nice alternatives: Armani code is hot...subtle musk undertones without being too floral...This is the closest to Joop but not as strong. Jean Paul Cool is a great summer cologne, as is my fave bottle of Nautica which brings out a nice citrus blend. But again, it's how it reacts to your own scent and skin. Apparently I have a personal aroma resembling something akin to fresh baked cookies (go figure). Couple that with a nice subtle scent and it drives the girl crazy. But agree with Trish..nothing can beat freshly bathed bodies!! drool

InYourDreams_x Fahrenhiet by Dior is the best smell on a man I have ever found, makes me & others go weak at the knees. I was dating a guy who wore this an even in a video store as he walked past a lady she let out omg you smell lovely. The smell of Fahrenhiet makes me wet instantly!!!
