Whenever I buy a mini bag of Nobby's peanuts at the train station, most peanuts are whole but when I buy a big bag they're all in halves! Is it the weight of the bag?

for me. I just never got into the chocolate craving thing but will eat a good chocolate mousse or gelati/ice cream if offered. I do like M&Ms or Hershey kisses (my fav treat as a kid) but not much into anything else. My mother made us snack on fresh fruits as kids (we had apple, pear and apricot trees in our backyard) and hardly gave us sweets or sodas (special occassion drinks). My boys like the double choc Tim Tams though. Im not sure if they are any good but MOST choc bars and biscuits are just way too sweet for me.

But didn't like the peanut butter Tim tams at all! Yummiest desert ever is crumble up 1-2 Reese peanut butter cups and mix through blue ribbon vAnilla Ice cream. The sweetness of the chocolate with the saltiness on the peanut butter is awesome!

Ralf, the reason you haven't heard of Kitchener Buns and Fruchocs might be that they're made and sold in South Australia :) I'm not a fan of choc-coated fruit though. Nuts, yes! The salty kind LOL - Posted from rhpmobile

My daughter took me to the local lolly Truck in Lautoka, Fiji...The only thing I liked was Jelly B..most unusual sweetness to it, red in colour, crunchy and deep fried. Other lollies had hot chillies in them. Tim Tams and chocolate were very very expensive there. Bit That didn't stop my sweet tooth. Lol Foxy

MisterGreen, I'm with you! Please tell me you haven't had one for a few years? Can't get them here in WA but Chokitos aren't a bad substitution! Now M and M's- give me the peanut ones over the plain choc ones any day, have learnt to buy them in small bags though for over indulgent reasons...... Nuts are good for you right??? Mrs LTL

If I do have a chocolate attack it is usually the lindt chilli dark chocolate. I don't even go down the sweet aisle and the biscuit aisle I usually stick to the dry biscuit end. I did watch the movie Chocolat, what a sexy movie that is, made me wish I loved chocolate, lol. I am pretty sure my waistline would hate me even more if I liked sweet stuff.

Peanut butter TimTams are rubbish. Chocolate and peanut butter anything is good but these bright orange coloured biscuits and filling are revolting. I think I will just get regular TimTams and spread peanut butter on them! - Posted from rhpmobile

Quoting 'Meeeeeeyou' When I was in Bali, I saw cheese Tim Tams!! What the!! So wrong. I just found this on an American forum (so it must be true...) The 'Tim Tam' market covers Australia, Canada, France, GCC, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, The Netherlands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Sweden, and the United States. If you are outside these areas, please purchase from a reputable online seller, and ensure the product was manufactured in Australia. USA: The Real Tim Tams: Tim Tams available from "Cost Plus World Markets" in the USA do not bear the name "Tim Tam" on the wrapper and are branded as "Arnott's Original". Please make sure they are made in Australia. The Fake Tim Tams: Beware a product called Tim Tam that is made by Pepperidge Farm, these are NOT real Tim Tams. Despite being made in Australia, this product is made for export only, and is made cheaply to better suit the cheap cost of junk foods in the US. Arnott's original will cost around a dollar more per pack, and are called Arnott's original because they have not been adulterated by sister company 'Pepperidge farm'. Rest of World: For those of you who are not in the US, you must ensure that the product is made by Arnott's and in Australia. Beware of Indonesian Tim Tams, especially if you are in Asia. These will bear the Arnott's logo, as they are made by an Indonesian company called "Halo Arnott's". This company can not be trusted. They have introduced a cheese flavoured Tim Tam to the Asian market, which, while quite popular in Indonesia, has embarrassed Arnott's Australia.

Try Eclairette Twins (bokkenpootjes*)! They are made from egg whites and sugar, dipped in almond flakes and dark chocolate, and have a mocha flavoured filling. * Translation: Little goat's legs. You'll see why when you Google them.

Quoting 'tulips4u' Noone stuffs a Kitchener Bun, except in their face LOL I meant FINGER bun, buttered with potato crisps haha, i thought it must have been a localised name for a finger bun - then I googled it and wondered at the people buttering a cream bun AND stuffing chips in it. Can anyone from Baker's Delight tell me why they have 2 different types of icing on the apple+walnut scrolls? one is sticky, sugary, gooey awesomeness - the other is like a thicker version of something from a teacake/bun and nowhere near as good.

S_OnTheLoose - I remember Baker's Delight have 3 types of apple scrolls - Apple/Custard, Apple/Cinnamon and Apple/Walnut. One had the Boston bun-type coconut icing. Can't remember which, possibly the custard one. The other two have the royal-type icing, which I guess is lower in calories for the more health-conscious? Don't take my word for it. I'm just a consumer and I'm probably wrong :) Shells - I also used to do it with plain rolls but the finger buns were to die for. I feel my arteries hardening already lol - Posted from rhpmobile
