Im very much a social drinker and have sampled the winery in the Hunter Valley in the past.. What starts off as a serious tasteing bunch usually ends up a very unserious happy social lot .. So yeah, with that in mind ,l think it would be a great success..

What a great idea. Particularly as it’s alcohol based (especially the wine factor!) 😊. I did a similar thing once, only it was in Italy (Tucana region). Lots of great wine, great food, and interesting relaxed company. Coordination and designated drivers are the key! Obi1

Sounds like a great idea. I don't drink either but my girl enjoys a couple now and then, the trip away would be good.Unfortunately we're probably over committed with trips away for the foreseeable future but I can dream :) KC72

I honestly don’t get why anyone thinks it’s ok to have a go at someone for answering with a “no”. The question was asked if people would attend, a no with an explanation as to why was given, isn’t that exactly what the OP was looking for? I guess when people want to pick they’ll find just about anything to pick at! To the OP; it sounds like a great event! I'd be interested not because ittan opportunity to get sloshed but rather I do enjoy wine (and good food) and with good fun company, it definitely ticks the boxes for me. Unfortunately it's too far from me but I'm sure you'll have great fun. Maybe if and when you have it, you can share some good (and not so good)) experiences (within reason and with discretion of course) with us so we can learn from it. Who knows, we may set up something similar in Victoria or in Barossa valley or Margaret River wineries. Best wishes.
