  A female friend puts up dates sometimes. I have even driven her to meet the guy a couple of times. She has said that she gets contact from people nowhere nearby and had some dud dates. In between she has met a couple of good men she sees more regularly. They aren’t locals but travel through here. As a single guy I never got anywhere with a date. Once I went to Canberra and did chat to a woman on the phone but she backed out the day we were meant to meet. When i was in a couple relationship, we did meet other couples through dates but mostly they didn’t work. Even got ghosted a few times. We found the best way to meet couples was to go to events and over time your circle of friends grows and you meet others mainly through private parties.

  Can be a way to meet singles or couples if you don’t go to events. We don’t fund the success rate high though, lots of lookers but people don’t reach out with a message or connect with you!
