I have had a similar thing happen with a fellow I've known for close to twenty years. It has been a lovely friendship but I find it frustratign the way he disapears in and out of my life, almost like he falls off the face of the earth. Thing is I know why this is but it doesn't make it any easier to deal with, he is bi-polar and its when he is having trouble with his meds that he goes underground. I've stopped trying to communicate, if and when he wants to get in touch I imagine he will... hugs for you MyName xxx

Oh whatta night! Still dazed and totally confused BUT, I sit here and feel a rush of a different kind. A much, much better one than that I experienced only a few short hours ago. Elledee, Trish, Nev & of course Jose' with the mostay! Your responses brought tears to my eyes & GI J just does't do that! (lol) I can only justify a response of this nature by admitting yet again to the V word. Not such a bad thing really, considering the benefits since owning it & received thus far. Elledee, friendship does bring a totally different set of expectations to the table & when faced with confusing & unsolicited actions on behalf of the other person, it is a very destabilizing event. You have your answer now and made a very wise decision. I am celebrating right alongside of you and gratefully accept your hug xx Trish, you nailed it. Coherant thought and interpretation of same alluded me in the early hours of the morning. Unconditional offering of oneself to another is a very humbling experience & when treated with such disdain and contempt by the receiver, following initial acceptance and reciprocated with a level of intensity I've not experienced before, does hurt, a lot. In conclusion, whilst I may be a bit battered and bruised your words, understanding and compassion bring me back to some semblance of 'normalcy'...some kind of wonderful My heartfelt thanks to you all xx
