Hairless is a lot easier to keep clean as the hair structures do trap debris and odours and so we are both well trimmed / shaven where necessary. I few recent international studies have confirmed that pubic hair protects against STD's and that those ( of the sample group tested) who are completely waxed are more prone to infections due to skin on skin contact without a buffer zone of public hair in between. - Posted from rhpmobile

On another site, I am a member of a group with a fetish for women who don't shave/wax. Including legs and armpits. This is a bit of a hipster site so it shows how mainstream full brazilians have become. The more extreme members there go off about full wax/shave making women look prepubescent although that is not a view I share. A patch of hair or absence thereof doesn't change the final result of her beauty. I certainly don't say no simply because of styling preferences. For a woman, I do prefer waxed/shaved. I am completely waxed and prefer the feeling of smoothness for myself. On my man however, I am not attracted at all to a man who is waxed/shaved down there. My hubby keeps his manicured/trimmed and I appreciate that but on the odd occasion he has surprised me with a completely naked undercarriage, I have not enjoyed the view and feel as much.

I am not really fussed, I don't think hair relates whatsoever to personal hygiene and I think it is pretty poor for people to assume that. I have the most stubborn hair on earth and I have tried various methods of hair removal from shaving to IPL and there are always side effects for me from shaving rash to ingrown hair so whether I am proactive in hair removal or not, I am sporting some sort of unattractive trait. I do shave out of respect for my partners but if I am on a dry spell, then I don't bother. I have been caught out for a quickie with not having prepared the area beforehand and it has had no bearing on whether I get lucky or not. If I had to list a preference for my partner, I would say trimmed. I like my men hairy, but I don't like it up my nose, lol.

As a female I do find advantages to being waxed/shaved but always have a large landing strip, I don't like the total bare look. THe bare lips provide a lovely sensation while the landing strip hairs also provide a pleasurable sensation (to a lesser extent) as it provides more variance to the available sensations. Having my hair blown on, stroked etc is different from the bare areas being licked, blown etc, so having the landing strip allows for both pleasures. As for men, I prefer natural as I don't like the pre pubescent teenager look. Trimmed is also fine. As for hygiene, I don't equate being unshaved/waxed to being unhygienic. As a female I do feel fresher for a longer time if I am shaved, but when playing I think it's only proper to shower etc directly before going out. Either way it is important to be clean but I don't think cleanliness relates to hair. Are guys unhygienic cause they don't shave their arm pits but women do?? I have actually wondered if shaving increases your chance at getting an STI as if both parties shave just prior to meeting & there can inevitably be small nick/cuts that may be reopened later during movement, is that not providing an opportunity for blood to blood contact ??? Even if it is a tiny nick.

"Little Girl look???" I have to admit that I do like a clean waxed (or shaver pubic area). The look is sexy, to me. A landing strip is fine, if someone wants to have one, but I don't need one to remind me that I'm with a grown woman... In fact, the thought of a little girl NEVER crosses my mind when I have sex... When I am with a woman, I KNOW I am, whether she has hair below or not... One partner had laser treatment over the entire area and it took 18 months for it all to be done... So, no chance of a landing strip there... As for myself... I put a number 2 attachment on my Remington trimmer and that leaves it trimmed and close cropped but still visible to a degree. I do prefer not to get pubes in my mouth and I assume that ladies don't either, so that's what I do and why...

...loved your descriptive informative post. Do agree with the landing strip - i have a nicely trimmed one myself. Although I too have wondered about STIs, Post above claims hair provides a "buffer". I try to make sure any shaving as a few days before at least. Personally I do prefer a sexy trimmed runway on ladies - personal preference only. Shaved or waxed does not equal clean, in fact doing so damages the skin which leaves you more susceptible to infections- that means stds too. I like trimmed on men but I'm not too fussed. On women I like something left behind. I don't particularly like the all off look. Just an aesthetic thing. On me... Well you'd have to get to know me better to find out...

I have been lasered now for a few years and love it. Much easier than shaving and lasering although as I had the hollywood brazilian it was not my finest hour being on all fours with a girl lasering my anus! LOL! it was definitely worth the hassle though. John is shaved or waxed all the time. If he has any hair I find that it irritates my labia. Where does this idea come from? Are our heads dirty? Not if we wash our hair they're not! I'm all for personal preference but please don't compare hairiness to dirtiness..... Personally I like au naturale on a man, shaved or even close trimming leads to sharp edges which feel unpleasant against my face and body. As a personal preference, I like shaved lips but my ginger triangle stays - if you don't like it, then don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out...

I have naturally fairly fin hair. Personally I like to keep it well trimmed and my balls smooth. That is to provide others with access without getting hair in their mouth, but mores because the sensation I receive from smooth balls. On men, this is also my preference, but would reject a person who isn't. On women I have to say that I do like it smooth. I like the lack of hair visually and from the point of view of ease of stimulation. Trimmed on a woman is good, but I not a fan of a wild look. I think this is condition too from porn..... shaved seem the norm for women and neatly trimmed for men.

a copout but it's really what she feels sexy with. Having said that I prefer a neatly trimmed play room.
