Do you find it offensive when people call women a slut or a whore even in the bedroom?

December 17 2018

II have noticed some people enjoy calling women derogatory names in the bedroom. In a site where we encourage women to express their sexuality, should we also be putting them down. Personally, I find this wrong and would be offended and dissuaded out of the lifestyle or at least wish no future contact with that person. Your thoughts? - Posted from rhpmobile

It is up to the reciever, as normal being the woman, as to what she does and doesn't want in some scenarios. In some instances I know, she enjoyed and encouraged some words including slut, but whore was off limits.

It's all about context. The words themselves are not offensive, as has been said above in the right sort of context they can be complimentary. When they're used negatively to disparage someone they are offensive.

Context is everything here. The word SLUT may well have originally meant something like a slovenly woman.I sometimes refer to myself as a slut because I aspire to be one...

I think this is one of those “each to their own” situations, some people love getting a lil nasty in the bedroom but if you don’t like it, don’t partake, simples 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mrs here. It’s a powerful word. When it’s used to denigrate and hurt women it’s off limits around here. But when a special friend started calling me a naughty little slut.... it’s like he flicked a switch Yeah that’s me 😉

It's the context. And the relationship. I call my bestie a dumb cunt. He calls me a mole My fwb calls me his slut. Role play. A thoughtful guy will ask first. He did.

Context and who says the word defines the definition and implication of the word. Typically it draws a negative connotation to mind immediately; but that is society who has conditioned us to thinking that being sexually free and enjoying ourselves on a broad spectrum of non conforming societal standard sexual exploits makes us different - when society thinks us different they label us to belittle us and attempt to make us conform. If loving sex and being sexually free and wanting to explore and heighten my sexuality makes me a slut - then I’ll happily call myself that and own it and wear it with pride.

Is a word first used by Chaucer and meant a woman whose work was to do the dishes..a kitchen wench. Over the centuries it took on sexual and pejorative connotations. Recently it was used "slut shaming", to describe a politian's abuse of a fellow female politician. It can however be a word that is quite erotic if used by the right person at the right time. And we can change the negative connotation of SLUT by embracing all the positives. Hugs Q

Indulging in the forbidden and the power play involved makes so much sense to me why it could be hot for some. I think I'd be turned off though no-one has ever called me one I couldn't say for sure.

The Oxford dictionary has two meanings: Noun, derogatory, a woman who has many casual sexual partners. Dated, a woman with low standards of hygiene. I think we should be mindful when using this word and others like it. There are better words to describe a woman confident in her sexuality. Goddess comes to mind. Can you think of any others?

I used to think the same as you. Over the years of being on Pie Land, my mind has changed. My mind changed because I now accept that in the "swinging" scene anything and everything goes, because of how diverse people are, different kinks and fetishes etc. Things are not just black and white or how we should think people behave because of our own core values and morals. Calling a woman a slut in the bedroom is acceptable in the BDSM scene. How a woman accepts or not accepts it, is up to her and choice. It does not matter what the meaning is. Ms Foxy

Role playing is completely different. Where else is it acceptable for a man to handcuff his lady and whack her in the face with his hard, wet cock😈💜

I would never use it towards a woman. I think it’s offensive. Having said that it’s pretty funny to see all these middle aged women walking around at the moment with t-shirts stating they’re a “ho ho ho”.

It's all about the context. If you're an entitled, misogynistic, belligerent, fully clothed male, or female, calling me a slut, you will experience my wrath. On the other hand if we're together, it's hot, kinky and on, then try it and see what happens.

You're just generalizing. Its all about context and the exact situation you're in at the time. If a guy calls me that right off the bat ill abuse the shit out of him and block him, but if yr already doing dirty talk and really enjoying a good hard fuck, then i quite often dont mind. And its also influenced a lot by the mood you set at the start.
