Do you have a bat-phone?

September 12 2019

Hey there, thanks in advance for your thoughts. I have often heard of couples who have a seperate bat-phone / swinger-phone which was on our to-do list. However Mr having just spent some time O/S for work with no access which proved difficult. We would love to know your thoughts on the pro’s and con’s. - Posted from rhpmobile

It is common knowledge, there people on here without their partners knowledge, who do have a secret "bat-phone". One place to look is under the driver seat of work vehicle. Normally turned on during working hours. If the spouse finds it, KAPOW! bat shit crazy is going to hit the roof. 😎 Ms Foxy

More scurrilous comments about cheating people 🙄😩 I used to have a bat phone...and I was single and therefore not cheating, nor part of a couple. I know many couples who have a bat phone and many that don't, probably a 50/50 split. I had a bat phone because it made it easier to separate RL and this life. It also maintains privacy; you can turn it off to control people's access to you. And if it all turns to shite its less likely they can find you via the phone number (assuming of course you have also deployed other safety measure such as not playing at home).

Oh Gward! Terribly sorry you were not aware. Well now you know. As stated and currently the one above yours, I do not believe my post is "scurrilous". The action of hiding a 2nd mobile has been posted nurmous times in the forums over the years. Lets thank those posters for sharing with us cons of having a 2nd mobile. The OP did ask for pros and cons. Yer. Your right, a pro is safety. Carry on. Ms Foxy

It's easier to manage other parties access to your phone with apps etc. So l think the day of the bat phone has been done in by The Joker. It easy to block the fuckwits. However, being single as l am, with no land line, l need to get a spare phone for those times you can't find your real phone. I know it's hard to say but displacing my phone is life changing. It is my line for my email, my Netflix, my Google, my internet, my cashless life/digital wallet, my ID. It even does phone calls........ It also a couple of hundred blocked numbers on it.....waves to the fuckers

We have a Bat phone to keep our lives separate. Any time you enter a number into your contacts that are accessed by social media all of a sudden you start seeing their social media accounts and possibly more about them than you need to know, like place of work, children's names, photos of what they ate, etc. Downside is that neither of us carry that 'phone around so it's not always charged and does not get answered unless the number is in contacts.Other downside is carrying two phones at times on the way to meets, etc.

That’s for the comments, loved the reference to the Joker. With little people in our lives that know their way around an iPhone better then the late Mr Gates, the idea of having the 2nd phone is on the to do list.

I should also add how suprised I am at the amount of posters who give their numbers to others. In allthe years (nearly 10) that both hubby and I have been using these sites we've NEVER given our mobile numbers to ANYONE. Even those we're still friends with to this day. Always just used deidentified email before kik became popular.

I won't give Facebook my phone number and have only exchanged numbers with a limited few. We prefer to chat on RHP.
