Do you have a doctor and/or nurse fetish? Can I ask you... what's with that? It's fair to say I've come across... no, wait, I've seen a few porn scenes set in hospitals featuring doctor(s)/nurse(s) and patient(s). They don't do it for me. In fact, I kind of think there's an odd undercurrent of tragedy to them that puts me off. As a viewer it raises all sorts of concerns. Why is the patient in hospital? Will that kind of pyhsical exertion not exacerbate their condition? If it's not contagious and it's not pain related, there's a pretty good chance it's something terminal. I don't like to be reminded of the frailty of the human condition in High Definition while my trousers are around my ankles. I don't want anybody to take this the wrong way (I know we have a few actual hippocratic oathers on these boards); doctors and nurses CAN be sexy. I love it when the impossibly hot interns give each other full body physicals in the on-call room on shows like ER, Scrubs and Grey's Anatomy. It's just the whole 'patient' angle that upsets me. I think I may be a bit too empathetic and literal in my pornography consumption. So, I guess a question is... does anybody else feel this way? Do you find the patient porn/fetish weird? I can't explain it ... can't put my finger on it, but I could have sworn ... Oh nevermind . I too am guilty of overanalysing the occasional scene in porn and thinking myself dry. Doesn't push my buttons. Think it's because hospitals make me think of sad stuff and that does not make me horny!Though I did recently visit the most delightful cardiologist; but not at a hospital. Now him, I could have quite happily taken home and kept as a pet .

Because our medical professionals are in a position of power and we need to be able to trust them, the role play of Drs and nurses isn't a popular choice in general.As a fetish however, it is one of the more popular role plays due to the fact that that a "naughty nurse" is usually expected to take temperatures by anal readings and needle play takes on a whole new meaning. The submissive patient is happy to take his medicine from a bossy but sexy nurse. There's a pretty clear divide on this one. For some it's a power/authority/physical exploration kind of turn on, as Mistress T says. For others, the realities of hospitals are a much more powerful and negative association. While I don't go into the medico/patient play, give me a hot femme anaesthesiologist and I'll probably propose to her on the spot!
