Does cuvry, shapely and voluptuous (also describe) BBW?

September 07 2013

bbw

Were just curious to ask the question what size do you consider is BBW, as we think curvy, shapely and voluptuous = BBW, but just a sensual way to describe the term.......at the end of the day, is all subjective until you meet and interpret whats in front of you aye

I think with terms for our Plus Size Babes can range from Curvaceous, Curvy, Plus Size or even gorgeous voluptuous or buxom some gorgeous terms can be found out there...just love em.With so many of our gorgeous babes in this area now with what I see a Plus Size Babe is from a size 16+ and how i see a BBW is say size 18/20+ or so, however for SSBBW would be say in my eyes is from size 24+. Just all in your own interpretation I suppose and how you see it just as you mentioned. This is a major area of our population with nearly 60% which is the majority of our population being in what we term the "Plus Size" area. I term anyone from a size 18+ as Plus Size Babes then I don't have to get too tied down with it. As long as these babes feel comfortable and if not tell us a term that they feel good with. Curvaceous and Plus Size Babe are my favorites

I think if she's really overweight, then she's BBW. Women can be fit, have a low fat % and still be curvy/voluptuous.- Posted from rhpmobile

I'm curvy and shapely, and say so in my profile. However, at a size 12 I don't consider myself big.

Sorry but bbw means very overweight to me. Lots of people are curvy and voluptuous and shapely without being overweight. I'd even go further and say those described as bbw are usually quite obese - size 20 and bigger. Not that I know that much about such things but that's the impression that I have. - Posted from rhpmobile

I'm a large woman, but I wouldn't describe myself as a BBW (never been a fan of that term). And I'm definitely not voluptuous!Yes it's all subjective. You can describe yourself however way you like to make it sound sexy! But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just as some people rate themselves as "Attractive" or "Very Attractive". Just because YOU believe that, doesn't mean that I will.

As the first male to post its always been an interesting description. What size fits what title. We each have our own idea of size & it does make it hard to label it in a generic way.

Definition of VOLUPTUOUS 1.a : full of delight or pleasure to the senses : conducive to or arising from sensuous or sensual gratification: luxurious b : suggesting sensual pleasure by fullness and beauty of form 2: given to or spent in enjoyment of luxury, pleasure, or sensual gratifications voluptuous holiday. Originally the term had nothing to do with large sizes, it appears to have been misconstrued over time. Nowadays people read it as: Large, but in all the right places. MsElle, who is to decide whether or not you're large in the right spots? But really, I'm sure many find you a pleasure to the senses.

Painted me once, so I am that old and that round but hey at the end of the daymen like squishy soft women but at the same timeI strive to not stuff my mouth with to much of anything, except cock I try to walk further than the fridge and back to the couch. For me its a struggle, I can resist anything but temptation.Being a heathy weight for your frame and age is the thing to aim for. And keep aiming for And once you start to loose those extra lumps and bumps, you do feel better about yourself. To many women and guys here , just have given up the fight and say well I am happy with my weight so stuff others. You need to be happy with your health, thats the main thingnot all of us will ever be a size 12 but we do not need to be a size 20The truth is if your not over weight, you get more sex and attention. You get more attention from yourself as well, as you can go shopping and not feel like you cant fit into the dressing room, let along a new dress.I am over weight myself, so I know every day I have to put blinkers on if I drive past the bakery.I have met some fantastic guys of here that are very over weight, and I cant have sex with them YET...when the kilo comes off I will be on them like a cheap suit. I often see how good looking men can be without the weight on them, must be the artist in me. I have had sex with a very over weight guy once, but it was hard for us both as he could not get into the positions i am sure he wanted to.so guys and girls, get rid of the lard for a better sex life.

I think i might be having an identity crisis after this? I'm a size 16-18 generally..... Am i larger than a typical plus size babe? Maybe not large enough to be a BBW? Is calling myself curvy an insult to all this size 12-14 girls with curves too? Or am i curvy in all the right places? I mean, i could easy still see my feet over my stomach if these damn boobs werent in the way. and as pointed out by Mesmerised....maybe voluptuous is an altogether misunderstood term? Damn! I like that one. OR how about who really gives a sh*t? More importantly i am accepting of my body. I really wish all women were. I am healthy, both body and mind....at the end of the day some of as are just predisposed to carrying more junk in the trunk....who gives a rats arse about the label?- Posted from rhpmobile

You are too kind! But I try to be as upfront and honest in my profile, so people are aware of what they are in for when meeting me (if they don't cancel - ha ha!).And when I hear "voluptuous", I always think of buxom. Well-endowed in the cleavage area. Which is something I can only dream of!

I suggest just selecting "see my photo" and putting up a pic ? As has been alluded to in a myriad of ways .. all these acronyms are highly subjective and will always be prone to misinterpretation.

No I am not. At a size 14 jeans I need to buy an 18 top to accommodate my voluptuous bosom. I am a short, curvy, buxom wench and there is just no getting past that! Reed thin or model perfect I not, I don't think there is a yard measure men use when they consider rejecting a woman. Some people are on here to fulfill a certain fantasy and hence the reason for the 9" penis.- Posted from rhpmobile

It, my shoe and clothing size as well as my age are but numbers. My height however is 5'5" added together makes a perfect 10. I have had no complaints, I still turn heads and I think I am a consumate lover and all round genuine person. On a blunter note I say "Fuck all you body size/shape absorbed people." God gave you what you have it's up to you to make it work for you and it is quite often said here among the men that "personality and attitude" are bigger selling points. Lol funny however when placed in a room with a bevy of beauties I STILL do alright for a "fat chick" even at 94kg. And no men, I'm certainly NOT easy!! (Shudder at the thought!!)

LOVE your post and agree 100%. It may well be time to call a spade a spade. I've lost a little weight recently - not heaps but enough to feel a bit better. At 5'6", 80kg, I'm pretty sure I'm still classified as obese. A man recently described me as shapely, which I think is quite apt. I have shape. Some people like my shape :) Nuff said.

I've got to say that I've also never been a fan of the 'BBW' terminology. If you are 'fortunate' enough to be a size 6 lady, would you term a size 12/14 lady, for instance, a BBW ? This is always going to be a subjective argument, because people will be looking at it from different perspectives, as well as what they have been taught about being healthy sizes. Physicians have standardized weight / height charts, but clothing manufacturers don't seem to. As you ladies will well appreciate, you can go to different shops / brands, and sizes can vary quite considerably. I think BBW fits into the same pattern. Indagine and SnugglePot who are both around the same height and weight I think have been quite game to mention their own details amongst this crowd, as everyone will come to varying conclusions upon that info. What would you two think of me - I'm 6'2" and 93kg nakid ? According to my GP's chart I'm on the overweight side.

if its obese then what is anorexic while were at it - sooooooo subjective - the terms can be quite damning but as mentioned in the earlier posts - as long as you feel and look good - who cares....its so much easier to call someone obese and anorexic when you perceive you are neither.....beauty is in the eye of the beholder.......love ones self before you can love others ....

... Regardless of overall weight, voluptuous definitely suggests simply that your curves are proportioned in such a way that you have that classic hour glass figure, so you could have an average bosom but if that combines with a narrower waist that tapers to wide hips & decent sized tushy then voluptuous you most definitely are. If you're rocking a girly gut but it's overshadowed by large breasts & you've got that booty too then you're still voluptuous as the hour glass outline is maintained overall... If however you're just heavy up top & have skinny hips with a flat bum then I don't think you can call yourself voluptuous as you're missing a few key lumps to get there, call yourself curvy maybe but really I would just say buxom or chesty, sorry anyone if that bothers you, there's nothing wrong with that look, it's right up some guys' alleys I'm sure. I know everyone says it's all subjective and so here's my subjective view on small boobs + big hips: I would call that curvy, especially if there's a nice caboose rounding it all off :-) - Posted from rhpmobile

I think your overall personality would be of more importance than your packaging but I'd be lying if I said that pretty packaging didn't help. I met a guy once who I told my weight etc and he was adamant about neeting. He then later said he preferred younger, athletic looking girls. Ppffft he was 50 FFS and no Adonis either, his age preference was 25 obvioualy there was a reason for Peter Pan's model of choice. I don't think my being me is being brave, it's simply the truth. If they had a body description that said "Curvy with an Overhang" I'd have chosen it. Having said that I reiterate, I do alright; very well IMHO. I don't do quantity anyway and my "quality" is of a high standard. Ask my lover. Lol I don't think he'd shag "just anything" either. Even at 52kg I was still a chunky chick. I'm a tank girl mate, built for comfort and all-terrain but stylish enough to turn heads in the city and yes can wear anything from a size 12 to 24 dependant on manufacturer. I AM OVERWEIGHT AND APPARENTLY OBESE not everyone's cup of tea but then skin and bone isn't mine either. Lol no offense to antone under a healthy weight range. ;-P

While searching Alibaba for lingerie bargains (you know China) I always have a giggle at their well meaning attempts at English (yes that was bad grammar on my part too) Anyway- while searching Plus Size lingerie.. I came across a site that had the heading "Big range of sexy lingerie for fat women" It was then repeated through out the site. I just chuckled at the language barrier and continued to look thru the online store cos - damn! They had some bargains!! Anna Xxxx
