Does smoking make men ignorant?

January 03 2010

There is a sentence on my profile which specifically states that I am not interested in smoking!    At least a quarter of the guys I hear from are smokers, which means they are wasting their own time as well as mine, which is precious, as I try to respond to all.  Do these guys honestly think that I will ignore my own desires, when they have made no effort to even read and understand them?  Must I spell it out?

I see you have a one liner on there about smoking. Perhaps you could make it a little more obvious, maybe something like:   If you SMOKE don't bother wasting your messages/flirts on me. NON-SMOKERS only.   Even an over excited 19yo could understand that, but you'd probably have to put it in the bottom section as well (us males have a short attention span).

Hi CJ,   I understand your frustration.  I have a similar statement on my profile but get a fair few smokers still contact me.  I now check their profile before responding to messages (I still respond if they smoke... I politely explain that I don't like it).  I also check again when I speak to them over the phone.   I guess we all have our own limits on things.  Some people don't see smoking as such a big deal... others do.  Personally I find that NOTHING will cover a smokers' breath.  I don't want my pussy smelling of smoke !   I've even had a few guys offer to quit smoking for me.  While that's flattering... I really don't consider myself a good enough motivator for someone else to quit.   Stay hopeful... there really are LOTS of wonderful rhp guys out there.  I'm happy to share mine with you... and they don't smoke !   xxx Ms Saturn

hey hey just cause we smoke doesn't mean we're not nice guyz remember lol. If we were meeting up with a couple who didn't smoke we would do our best not to smoke so maybe double check that first, they might do the same for you   till next time   scott

I so list that I am a lgiht smoker in my profile and I am just that.  I never smoke in a car, inside mine or anyone else's home and always outside.  And I am a light smoker...not a chain smoker and have found those little clear smokers mint things loaded with chlorphyl wipe out any smell or taste in the mouth.   Now that said, I have also stated in my profile that I am a light social drinker...and on rare occassions just that.  I like to have my senses about me and really, being around a "sloppy drunk" is not that much fun.  They are easier to get to agree to certain things...but not that much fun.   Too, re the smoker breathe comment.  I don't think the smell of second hand wine or scotch on my cock would be all that terrific but given the benefit....it washs off!    I am not flexible enouigh to lean down and smell my own cock anyway and can't think of why I would?

CaptJack - I will take your suggestion and run with it when I'm not supposed to leave for work in a few minutes. Saturn...your bad boy cast offs would be very welcome...bring it on   Geez Nev, and here I was thinking I was special (sniff, sniff)   Jose - no idea what you said, was too busy looking at the sexy bum!!!   Scott - that's ok for a one-off, but what if we were interested in more, then it would become a problem...   xxCalam

when deciding if something covers or eliminates a smoke smell, ask a non-smoker, don't rely on your own senses.I am desensitised to the smell of a pair of hockey gloves used near daily for a few years and kept damp so they stay soft and supple. If you held it up to my face, I'd say "yup, its a glove, what am i supposed to be looking for?"... if I held it up to anyone elses face, you'd probably turn into a whirling dervish shrieking to get that stinky thing away from you. I'm used to that particular odour, like a smoker is with smoke. But, as a non-smoker, from a non-smoking family/household I can pick up the smell of cigarette smoke very well, you might not have smoked for hours, brushed your teeth and had a mint - but chances are i'll still smell it on your hair, or feel like I've been kissed by an ashtray.(not intended to sound like I'm having a go at smokers, just saying that some non-smokers really do notice it even when you don't)
