  IMO, what wifey is getting at is that “vanilla” is just a baseline. She's hinting and communicating for you to step outside your comfort zone and try a little spice. AKA Don't be boring on the date try to impress the other. Kinks and fetishes are extra spicey, delicious toppings, but only if everyone involved actually consents to various flavouring toppings. But if your not interested communicate because sometimes vanilla is quite nice on its own. Ms Foxy

  Vanilla seems to have lots of meanings for different people. The usual definition is Vanilla = boring. Kinky = exciting, seductive, something different. I don’t agree with these as I’ve always thought of “kink” as something that doesn’t come naturally to most people, only some. It’s a different way of approaching sex. Things like power play and special interests. Swinging, sensuality and group sex is super vanilla IMO. Just tastier than your average.
