To me it means...you gotta ask them! Sometimes I think people use it as way to get someone to contact them, to ask them those questions, a selling point. BUT when I see a profile with just a cock shot, the Relationship status says "ask me".....my head goes ding-a-ling...MARRIED! Think I have been reading too many forums... LOL! Grey ghosts with all ask me's...I don't even go there...NEXT! Yes I agree tho, it is pure laziness when completing a profile. Foxy

Totally agree. One of our deal breakers is smoking. When that part has'ask me' we just assume that's a yes. Because we just know they'll attempt to say 'oh but I won't smoke the day I plan to meet you'

If I see a young gorgeous women whose profile is supposedly new (but for some reason she has like 20 friends already) and all her profile consists is "ASK ME" - I do. I will send a message asking them. Do I get a reply, of course I fucking well don't, and 90% they block me, saves me blocking them for being fake !! Mooka

Yep, I have to admit, to me, 'ask me' is most often code for 'I have no imagination' or 'I'm in denial' or 'I'm so lazy that I will return mono-syllabic answers'And further more (moving soap box into prime position) 'light smoker' means 'heavy denial' to me.Take it from me - and every other non-smoker out there.. Laying of the disgusting tar for an hour, and chomping a mint, does very little to hide the foul smell in your hair, clothes, bed and worst of all your lips.. no matter how lovely they may look.OK I can put the soap box away now. : )

It doesn't annoy me in the slightest. It's just words on a screen. If the words don't captivate me I move on, simple. I think that joy and peace of mind and happiness are too precious to sacrifice even a tiny bit of them on how someone else decides to write their profile. - Posted from rhpmobile
