I don't recall ever having an enjoyable drunken sexual experience and have found that most men are uncoordinated and some even unable to maintain an erection. Sober sex or sex after a couple of drinks is generally the same for me although if it's with a new partner a couple of drinks does ease any nervousness and therefore makes the experience more enjoyable.

I have to say that being sober and drunk during our sex session, myself and my wife agree that sober is the one for us... Alcohol and fatigue hit hard during sex and from a personal point of view it is not as erotic or sensual. I have never suffered from the brewers droop but I did find it difficult climaxing ( if at all ) during sex. The brain is a strange thing all night it's telling you what you are going to do when when you get back home etc, but when it actually starts the booze has already taken it's toll on the labido. No the occasional glass of your favourite tipple is fine but anything more than that in my opinion ruins the sensual and erotic side of sex..

For me, Mr it's sober sex. For Mrs it doesn't matter she can perform under varying levels of sobriety, but then she doesn't have to worry about personal safety because I'm there to look after her.

pretty much always leads to wild sex for us. Amongst our friends we are well known for our late night drunken shenanigans! We have been heckled, applauded and ribbed unmercifully throughout the years, good naturedly of course It's not my preference though, I do like to remember clearly what has happened, to enjoy the moment and the memory!

And admit that I (Mrs) way way way prefer drunken sex over sober sex. Not paralytic vomiting on the floor drunk...... But very aroused and uninhibited level of drunk. Drunk sex: less balance control, fumbling around and not quite pinpointing the exact place first time, if you're one who tried up when drunk having to pause halfway while you or your partner throws up, not being able to make informed decisions, loss of sensitivity Sober sex: being fully aware of what's going on and knowing this is a good choice, all senses working properly and not blurred, being able to think clearly and come up with good ideas and options, gross motor skills fully functional to a high level, total control of balance and clear thinking. Mrs D used to have a "few" drinks so she could perform her marital duties...so now it's a major turn off, the final straw was when she fell out of bed because she was so pissed.The last conversation we had about our sexless state included her offering to get pissed so she could do the deed...so sad.A few drinks and a drunken romp used to be fun but not any more...never again!

We'll look there you go hey, from the looks of things we have a steady opinion that sober sex is the way, a few drinks to take the edge off is always a nice touch, and for those who want a little extra, a few more than a couple is the way to go. :P In saying that, a look at the couples who have posted, as a general have said that they prefer to let loose on the weekend and liven things up a little. I do not think its a good idea to be drunk on a meeting with anyone, fair enough if your partnered and at home and doing your thing. But i have seen swingers where women have been so drunk that they did not even realize that men were having sex with them with no condom. And men wanting sex with no condom. Also women not able to say no when drunk and guys getting in shit for having sex with women when the woman did not have capacity to make an informed decision. Men that drink to much , then grind away all night till smoke comes out of your pink bits. Or better still falling asleep on a woman. Safe sex means more than a condom

I think it's a bridge too far to say someone has issues because they like messy, drunken sex. Enjoying drunken sex and being dependent on it to get off are two different things. I like both really…..drunk sex can be fun as you will sometimes go a little more wild than usual and enjoy it :) Then sober sex of course fills up most of our life , and it is awesome too. No one likes a sloppy messy drunks, and no one enjoys someone who HAS to drink to play etc. However big fun nights out with drinking and play can be amazing……..I'll have both please !

A lotta hate for the drunk fuck on here. I myself have had some great drunk fucks over the years As has been pointed out...there is the occasional act of raging debauchery fueled by 'a few too many' on the weekend, and there is being reliant on alcohol to have sex, period. They are different things in my book and the latter indicates much deeper seeded mental health and / or relationship issues (ok we could get into those grey areas around drinking habits and reliance on alcohol but I don't think that's really the intent of this topic).

Someone said drunk sex is their fetish and another said they prefer drunk sex. A fetish is almost something a person needs to get off. I don't think that is a good thing at all and I am not going to say it is because you feel it is politically correct to do so.

Drunk, sober, tipsy whatever..........good sex is good sex. Seizing the moment to enjoy some intimate pleasure with a like minded partner or two or three is worth it whenever the opportunity presents itself. God knows there is enough stress and pressures in everyday life that most folks wouldn't knock back a good shag just because they have had a couple of drinks. Sober or a couple of drinks is what wrks for me. I think that sex when drunk isa bit like thinking we can drive well when pissed. I feel we may be believing it is better than it really was. That said,with inhibitions down, I found some women to be more vocal, which probably makes me believe I doing better than I really am. And sex the morning after a big night..... awesome, but let me brush my teeth first!

I would have to say sober sex is generally better. A lot of times when drunk it's hard to get it fully up and it lasts ages. I'm always less coordinated and it's most times a blur in the mornings. I'd much rather sober sex, probably better for both sides as well.

but I'm pretty much always sober when meeting people now. At clubs I'd be driving, if I invite someone to my home I want them sober enough to leave, and when practising BDSM there's not a big emphasis on drinking for effect because people get their 'effect' in other ways. I guess I just got used to fucking people with all my faculties, now the idea of meeting someone while I'm out and they're drunk... I'll generally pass. I want my play partners to be the kind of people who don't need to be drunk to relax or be uninhibited. Just my personal choice. xx Sarah
