Embarrassment potential

November 14 2013

After browsing various profiles yesterday, looking at people quite a bit older or younger than ourselves, I got to wondering about embarrassing finds. I mean, we're well aware of the chance that we might come across someone we know on here, but I wondered if anyone had ever come across a family member?? Or worse - received a flirt or message from a relation? I'm fairly certain that none of my family (or his) are in here (fuck me that would be one hell of a surprise!!) but has it happened to others? And what did you do about it?

But I knew that when I became a member.. My brother and sister in law have their profile but rarely log on. We never had anything to hide and we dont even talk about it any more.

On another site was messaged by a guy from my town. Just general chatting and he volunteered to send a face pic. He opened his private gallery ... It was one of my first cousins! - Posted from rhpmobile

I was on the road & feeling a bit toey in my 20's, and bought a UK based XXX mag from a truck stop for a bit of self comforting, only to find an advert for [something] with a pic of my real life Aunty in lingerie! True story :-/

Have had two family members and currently have a friend on here (as I'm someone from real life pre Rhp) I set up one family members profile in fact lol Couldn't care less and there's not much chance of my family flirting with me. If my friend did we'd have a laugh and move on- Posted from rhpmobile

To find someone you're close with or know on here - just think of the great conversations you could have and freedom of expression without fear or worry about being judged. A few of our good friends know about our lifestyle choice and I love that. If anyone from our family turned up on here, I'd embrace that information with gusto. I wouldn't be embarrassed at all. Highly unlikely for since most of our family live overseas. (Mrs)- Posted from rhpmobile

For me is the thought I might see a work colleague at a sex club. I walk in and there is the CEO having his arse gang banged. I am sure it will happen one day.

Quoting 'flimac'I'm someone from real life pre Rhp I used to be from real life too.   Quoting 'Meeka100'For me is the thought I might see a work colleague at a sex club. Same! Which is why I have my doubts about Hellfire. But OP, I have no family in Australia, so that's one concern less.

My smile was recognised on cam - I wasn't showing any more of my face than that. The guy was a close friend of my family. I absolutely freaked out given he'd seen me very naked and debaucherous on cam. He's been the perfect gentleman about it though, for years now. I'm extremely grateful that he turned out to be such a good guy. - Posted from rhpmobile

Is predominately a night club. You can dress up or dress down as much as you like, so even If you see someone you know... Well it's not like you are naked doing anything. :)

We introduced our bridesmaid and her hubby to swing clubs: ended up going to a few in London together.. Mr Bristols once saw a single guy profile from a old Uni chum- not the done thing to mention it.- Posted from rhpmobile

my profile and messaged me, refuting my claim the photo of me in a G string doing Weights was actually me.... called me by my full and REAL name.. I worked out she was from Kalgoorlie area, so I asked if I had fckd HER, or with THEM.. She said "No fckn way..." and when I went to try to work out who they were, they had locked down their profile..   Pisses me off.. I WOULD have worked out who they were too.. :)   THEN had some fun with them.. just because she was trying to be a superior smart arse...

We have seen familiar faces on here and at parties. Ann is a teacher so we don't show faces evn in private gallery photos. We were messaging with a couple on here and they sent a face pic (among a lot of naughty ones) and Ann knew the couple from her school. She had not taught their children but had met with the mum on a few occasions. We sent a polite "no". We also ran into a teacher she knew at a neighbouring school at Couples Club. That was embarrassing for them both at first then it was just a laugh. We also met the younger sister of a mate of mine from high school at a swing pool party. We were standing around the pool naked chatting and this lady came up and introduced her as Sean ##### little sister...remember me? That was a spinout!

This is one of my biggest fears on here, and the main reason I don't have a visible profile pic (although I'm working on something!). Being in high powered position in a large company here in Perth, I often like to ask people what they do before I open my face pics up... juuuust in case! Being a woman in power is fraught with land mines, my corporate image is valuable to my future success and sadly we still live in a society where I WILL be judged negatively for having an open mind about sex and relationships. I think I need to lighten up a bit, but still, this makes me very nervous indeed. Reassurance anyone?

We haven't met anyone we know yet...but if we do then we have agreed to win a "prize"... Can't wait to see someone I know and find out what my "prize" will be :) be even better if we both know the person ;)

Totally agree with you CravingTouch! If it came out amongst the parents at Ann's school that we were in this lifestyle her position, while technically unchanged, would be untenable! Could you imagine the parents in the playground in the morning when she walks past? Luckily we do not live anywhere near where she works and so we do not run into any of those families at the beach etc.

Quoting 'CravingTouch' I think I need to lighten up a bit, but still, this makes me very nervous indeed. Reassurance anyone? I was silly enough to put a face pic up just for a few days to see if it made a difference to my messages then thought better of it, that's all it took. He's not being creepy him_and_me, just enjoying being my 'secret admirer' (his term). He knows me really well, we socialise together so I'm wracking my brain. I live in Bumfuck Central, I don't socialise with that many people.
