The Second Full Moon This Month Will Come With A Dramatic TwistSarah Coughlin 25 /1 / 2018 January 2018 is continuing to be the mooniest month we've seen in some time. Not only will we be treated to a blue moon, aka an additional full moon, on the 31st, but that day will also see a lunar eclipse. This phenomenon is sometimes known as a "blood moon," for the reddish tint the moon takes on while it's in Earth's shadow. But there's nothing macabre about this eclipse's greater meaning. Those who live in the Midwest and on the West Coast may be able to see it in its totality, while East Coasters will only get to see a partial eclipse before the moon goes down for the day. No matter what your view of the night sky may be (or if you go outside to watch at all), you're sure to feel the effects of this lunar event. Astrologically speaking, this month might go out on a dramatic note. In general, lunar eclipses are opportunities to tend to the relationship you have with yourself. When we spoke with Athena Perrakis, PhD, founder and CEO of Sage Goddess, about last August's total solar eclipse, she explained that eclipses of a solar variety can underline truths about the world around you, while those of the lunar sort illuminate truths about yourself. "A lunar eclipse reveals what’s hidden about you, kind of your internal landscape," she said, adding that you ought to treat this type of celestial event as "a chance for internal reflection." Maybe a revelation will strike you the night of the eclipse. This could be as major as realizing you actually hate your job, or as minor as realizing you actually hate, say, that end table in your living room. On the other hand, you might still be coming to terms with a personal truth that you unearthed months ago. Now's the time to embrace that fact about yourself wholeheartedly. If you ask us, any lunar eclipse is a reminder-worthy event. But this upcoming lunar eclipse will occur while the moon is hanging out in Leo, the fiery sign of passion, courage, and all-around expansive behavior (which, in its most extreme forms, can manifest as stage-whispering confidential gossip or bringing a controversial plus-one to a wedding). And that placement may influence your eclipse reflections in one of two powerful ways: Whatever it is that you learn about yourself will either be grand in scope (closer to hating your job than your furniture), or it will elicit a similarly grand reaction in you. So, yes, if you've been sitting on something big, your foundations may feel a little shaky next week. But, for most of us, this Leonine eclipse will probably have a more heart-opening effect than anything too earth-shattering. In other words, this may be an opportunity for self-acceptance or divine creative inspiration if you want it to be. Otherwise, there's still plenty to look forward to on the 31st, from the full moon itself to the fact that moonsuperit'll be a . Like we said, this month has lunar events to spare — it's up to you how you celebrate them.

Life Will Always Be Working Out For Me... I like understanding that things are always evolving, and while there are many things thatcould be better where I am, it is not a problem because "where I am is constantly changing"to something better. I like knowing that as I look for the best things around me where I am,those things become more prevalent in my experience. It's fun to know things are always working out for me, as I watch for the evidence of that... Isee more evidence of that every day. ---- Brielle Love Eden --- I found Brielle yesterday while on the net ,I love her inspiring beauty she truly has a gift to share . Movement is life: Anna Halprin believes dance can heal anything, from cancer to racism. RTD met with the 97-year-old dance icon to find out how she’s been treating people for decades. When Anna was stricken by cancer about 55 years ago, she used dance to help heal herself. Since then, she has taught others to do the same, and has used her healing-through-dance concept to take on more global issues, such as racism and world peace. Dance helped Anna better understand the oneness of the body with nature, making her a fierce advocate for the environment. She still teaches to this day.Watch "Anna Halprin - Dance to Heal" on RTD website.

I really appreciate your flexibility, as I do need a venue to speak about my thoughts and self discoveries, and to make things make sense, of course I do need to mention the things that have been, and are, happening in my life that have led to my self discoveries. The incidents I mentioned in my old posts (on other breads) only served as a back up point, not a whinge or anything negative in that sense 😛 - Posted from rhpmobile

Hugs xx Your wonderful post is soul warming and has touched my heart! I definitely am flawed and not a know-it-all person, but I have gone through a lot in life as an individual! So, I’ve vowed to use my knowledge, life experiences and skills to help other people who might be in need of a motivation to pick themselves up again when all lights gone out on them. Therefore, I am glad that my posts have given you some kind of inspiration 🤝 Life is truly too short and to waste it on the unnecessary negativities (like I did in the past) is so not worth it! After all, who can guarantee that I would wake up again tomorrow? So, the only way to buy that chance again is to free myself from my emotional traps, be positive and be thankful for every chance I gain! 😊 - Posted from rhpmobile

I feel like you have taken on something I said personally and I am sorry because there was no intent on my behalf for that to happen, go back to the thread you haven so much of yourself to if you want to. I have withdrawn because I obviously don't belong there.

I am not sure what has prompted your post above, Peachy, but I have to say that you have misinterpreted my posts in this thread 😊 I did not take on anything you said personally, Peachy, as I don’t remember you have said anything negative about me or my posts 😊 I have chosen to come in this thread instead because, I feel safer to write freely without having some people rolling their eyes from reading my posts 😛 Therefore, please do not feel that I am upsetting with you or anything you said in the negative sense, Peachy, because I am not and I keep my words 😊 I just need to do what is best for me in order to help me get through this current turbulence, as it is one hell of a challenge to tackle! - Posted from rhpmobile

Empowerment is such an essential thing in life especially for the young ones these days with so much bombardment from all angles. Don't know where to post in the last couple of days similar topics popping up all over. So I think I will share myself with the lot of them. So it be this topics turn. Have always been empowering myself mind and body. Was lucky enough to have some wonderful people in my childhood especially my mother who shared with me the basics of eastern philosophy and my grandfather who basically told me no matter what Sono you do good for and empathise with all and that would make me so very proud. Before I was medicated for my bipolar I used to pull out the letter that was from and breathe it in when I felt I was not enough for this society. Had some terrible times and influences as well that screwed me up rather nicely. So enough of me. I am a big believer in paying it forward and have been since a child. I was at the service station at 8 this morning getting milk and a young lad off to school was there looking at mixed lollies 2 bags for five dollars. He had 2.50 and 1 bag was 3.90 I said give me your 2.50 and take the bag. He was really polite and said thanks. So as I walk home I think to myself wouldn't it be nice if just something came from that, say he told some of his mates that old people can be pretty awesome :) or he may have been a bully and instead shared a lolly or two with one he bullied. I really liked the idea that it may have made him just go, wow the world is still a good place. Rubi always loved who and what you are and don't let the stuff flying around get to you. Not much need to say that as I know you are one strong woman in yourself. I hope this thread does keep to itself as it seems to be doing as it is a breath of fresh air. Will be dropping in from time to time. And sweetgem I have no experience of what you are having to deal with currently but it is so nice to see such a strong woman doing what you are doing with the most joyous and warm way in here on the forums. Always there for all with your encouraging words and not one thing said towards another poster. I think the majority here completely understand you using some threads as your back up point and would not have seen any whinging at all (we all know that's not you) just a place where you have some good friends and we all need to release every now and then. And you have so much going on of course you need to speak. I have my reasons why I use the forums. I love to socialise but don't get out often so this is my social outlet. And am so grateful that it is here with some lovely people and an added bonus of a little intimacy. May the sun be shining for you tomorrow

Only last year, I was still unable to face the fact that one day I will lose my beloved mother to nature of life! I would break down and cry with one click of fingers if I talked about it! However, with so many unfortunates have been happening to people I know, and knew, within a very short period of time, my mind suddenly just cleared up like a sealed window has been unsealed and opened and sunlight shines through to rest on my face. I felt like I could breathe again with the realisation that death is not always a bad thing to have happened! ☀️😊 It is very important to empower our mind with the right techniques and practices, in order to keep our head space clear for deeper and harsher challenges 💪🏼 - Posted from rhpmobile

Being an 80% extrovert, I am expressive of my feelings and thoughts, but mindful about what I say/write, so I don’t unintentionally hurt or offend other people’s feelings 😊 after all, I am doing myself a favour by being mindful towards others ☺️ I wish you well, Pangolin28, hope the sun shines bright on your path too 🙏🏼 - Posted from rhpmobile

Changes begin with ourselves! 💪🏼 We cannot change anything except for our own thoughts and attitude! We have no control over anyone and anything but our own emotions and feelings! Accept that and things will start to turn around positively, which is often followed by new opportunities. Vibe and energy are two important elements to create positivity, and I refuse to give in to any negative vibe and/or energy ☺️ - Posted from rhpmobile

I cannot remember the Stuart Wilde quote I had on my fridge years back but I do love that one Rubi as I am a nature boy and it was always my teacher and lucky enough not just to look at it but see it. Had a pretty torrid time inside myself not understanding why me as a highly intelligent, kind, caring and empathetic being was not dealing with life itself until I was diagnosed with bipolar in my thirties. Highly ADHD from a child and the onset of my bipolar my mother and I through discussions think it was early twenties. Anyway I was always different and the way I dressed and acted kind of made me a society outcast. As in offering help to those in need a lot would say no thanks and wait for another to come along, very obvious with the elderly. Looking for work and being judged on my looks. It was hard as I didn't seem to fit in, anyone who knew me were fine and happy to know me even my mother and sisters friends. Never worried me as I liked who I was deep down but not liking some of the things and ways I had acted looking back. In fact the best thing that my mother ever said to me was "You know I love you so much Stuart but I do not like the person you are right now". Seriously my young life as I see it was a contradiction wrapped in a riddle that was an enigmatic puzzle. So this brings me to a quote my mum gave to me that helped me see life without the idea of society success. Sorry about the ramble:) The talent of success is nothing more than doing what you can do well and doing well whatever you do Longfellow Wow that was a long spiel for a short quote

Once upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her life was miserable and that she didn’t know how she was going to make it. She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time. It seemed just as one problem was solved, another one soon followed. .Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs in the second pot, and ground coffee beans in the third pot..He then let them sit and boil, without saying a word to his daughter. The daughter, moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing..After twenty minutes he turned off the burners. He took the potatoes out of the pot and placed them in a bowl. He pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl..He then ladled the coffee out and placed it in a cup. Turning to her he asked. “Daughter, what do you see?”.“Potatoes, eggs, and coffee,” she hastily replied..“Look closer,” he said, “and touch the potatoes.” She did and noted that they were soft. He then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg. Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee. Its rich aroma brought a smile to her face..“Father, what does this mean?” she asked..He then explained that the potatoes, the eggs and coffee beans had each faced the same adversity– the boiling water..However, each one reacted differently..The potato went in strong, hard, and unrelenting, but in boiling water, it became soft and weak..The egg was fragile, with the thin outer shell protecting its liquid interior until it was put in the boiling water. Then the inside of the egg became hard..However, the ground coffee beans were unique. After they were exposed to the boiling water, they changed the water and created something new..“Which are you,” he asked his daughter. “When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a potato, an egg, or a coffee bean? “.Moral:In life, things happen around us, things happen to us, but the only thing that truly matters is what happens within us..Which one are you?

A 24 year old boy seeing out from the train’s window shouted…“Dad, look the trees are going behind!”.Dad smiled and a young couple sitting nearby, looked at the 24 year old’s childish behavior with pity, suddenly he again exclaimed….“Dad, look the clouds are running with us!”.The couple couldn’t resist and said to the old man….“Why don’t you take your son to a good doctor?” The old man smiled and said…“I did and we are just coming from the hospital, my son was blind from birth, he just got his eyes today.”. Every single person on the planet has a story. Don’t judge people before you truly know them. The truth might surprise you.
