Her performance, song choice, passion, and the 2 gorgeous backup singers (especially the blonde on the right :P) should of took it out. Guy Sebastian did alright, 5th place isn't too bad. No.1 swede guy was a great vocal and well synced! What do you think?

I didn't watch, as much as I love it, it's not a valid reason to have tv in my house :) I did however manage to hear the song Guy performed this morning at the gym, and was a little disappointed, I felt he could have chosen something that highlighted his talent, showed his range a little more, think he was going for a feel good crowd participation type song, IMO he sold himself short .....

I didn't see much of it but did see some of the favourites and I thought Sweden were deserving winners. Guy did extremely well and I think he did us proud representing Aus as a Guest nation. Given all the other countries compete every year, a top 5 finish was outstanding. LG

It didn't see all the entries, but saw Sweden once on Saturday, then twice on Sunday. I couldn't get the song out of my head after that. Loved the light show too, especially when the singer had wings projected unto him. Cool! Guy was fine but as a colleague said, the Eurovision is about glam and spectacle and Guy was just too... normal.

but was overseas for last 3 weeks while it was on.... Good on Guy Sabastian.. good result.. But just can't understand why we didn't send the gorgeous Jess Mauboy as the contender... Like last year she would have brained them once again.... and that's got nothing to do with a prized pic of Jess giving yours truly a cheeky cheek kiss last year...

It was a talent competition, meaning the artist has to write and perform their own songs , :/ maybe I'm thinking of Tamworth lol

I haven't bothered to watch ever since Terry Wogan gave up the commentary He made it great year after year and it was always worth listening to his spin on the next group of unsuspecting contestants - Posted from rhpmobile
