I am envious. I would love to do the Gibb River Road and a must would be Cape Levique too. I've been as far as Broome tho that was a while back. I started to chat to a guy off a Vanilla site who wants to do the Gibb River Road too. I ACTUALLY went on one of those FIRST dates whereby you have no sex. WTF. They are not really my cup of tea. Bloody Melbourne weather. sun decided to take dsy off and a no show. Windy and now rain. How am I supposed to exercise and walk along my local beach? Oh well... It's Sunday early morning so I'll hang around my lounge in my jimjams abd sip strong soy latte with floating marshmallow or two... And watch back episodes of black mirror my son downloaded for me. He was keen for me to watch it so we csn discuss the artistic merits of the show with him. My budding film-maker. Hope it'll be good. Will report to HQ if it's good or crap or whatever . 😘 Now..where did I put my marshmallows? 😕

This time I was disappointed to see the thread go. Many of my posts are light hearted and throw away lines. The statement I made was a bit more serious and meant to be supportive of the diversity among us. Whether I like you or not I don't care if you're black, white or brindle. There are a few variables about why threads come and go, somehow I don't think that they will all be eliminated. Maybe seven will be a lucky number.

We have seen alot of profile photos lately. Where its a single or couple profile. And they have the faces of there friends in the photo also. We think this is wrong to have there faces on here, when they dont know about it. And have nothing to do with this site. Just today. A couple joined. And have five faces in it. Thank you. Yeah dyslexia and dysgraphia are real, I have learnt not to let it bother me anymore. I never use to write publically, however the forums here have allowed me to do so and build my confidence with in, over the years. I also get my left to right mixed up. How many times I have been rerouted by the voice in google maps, I couldn't count. On the other note, I do wonder tho, if people do feel as they are at home in many places as I mentioned in V6. Shut the door!!! Korean buffet??? Where is this place! 😍 I was sitting outside in my backyard and having my coffee ☕ ans realised my garden is in dire need of pruning and upkeep. It won't clean up itself. Last couple if weeks of extremely windy weather has shaken the branches of my big tree and they are just all over the ground. like somebody burst open a very pregnant pinata in a 5 yo bday party 🎉. 😄 I'll just have to spend rest of morning in garden and get my exercise that way. 😞 So rearranged my plans to do garden this morning, work this afternoon until 4 and then hit the market for vegies n meat for Monday night dinner feast with my boys. Sooo excited for the latter. 😍 Btw, yes let's go Korean buffet one night..check your txt messages soon. 😘

Someone finally was caught. Probably happens more than we realise. But that doesn't mean it is acceptable. Definitely a low act. 😔 It will be interesting to see what punishment is handed down; a ban from first class cricket for a period of time seems appropriate.

I have a friend who has terrible problems with Left & Right. She found wearing a Ring on her Right hand helps...very subtle suggestion for her brain, works for her. Out driving, if she needs to turn left she just goes the opposite way to her Ring. Sunday afternoon plans...watching the V8's race again :)

I live a good 7kms or more away from Albert Park, where the F1 races are held. Yet, this morning, I woke up to the sounds of the F1 cars' very distinctive engine sounds. Amazing how sound travels!

Sadly I am not surprised. I think if investigations were launched into most professional sports they would all be found wanting. It has become industry and sheep stations. Most lack true sportsmanship almost as if it is frowned upon. this aspect has been bugging me greatly as an avid sports follower for many years now.

The obscene amounts of money (not just in salaries but advertising endorsements etc.) involved in professional sport these days will inevitably result in unethical behaviour by some. The only thing that really surprises me, is that people continue to be surprised when things like this happen.

Re. that sense of home, not sure if you saw what I wrote, however you mentioned that feeling with those areas overseas and I said I've certainly always had that feeling regarding my ancestral homes. That said, not so with Australia, have never felt home or comfortable here. In my experience it can be difficult when you're a bit different. Still quite a conservative country, scratch below the surface. Also said that the closest I feel to home is in Sydney, love the harbour... Mr. urn.

A weekend of poor news. The loss of V6.Daniel getting a grid penalty. The fondling of balls in all the wrong ways, and to then to see Daniel just miss out, I thought BETCHA we are on V8 now.I'm pleasantly surprised mind you, but i kinda set myself up for more disappointment.
