But the thing that was particularly on my mind at that moment was all the poor fellows sitting there reading the stream on their home pages thinking... these people are dying to meet me... when those guys don't match what we are looking for at all (age etc, small things I know but some are more pedantic than others as we well know). Next thing we know, we'll be reading more posts on how people can't read. Rare upside down face here... Love your way with words! Hugs... Deb xOx

Stone the bloody crows! Fair dinkum, Im having one of the worst case of 'what tha's' lately. More commonly known as 'I just dont get it' blues. Mrs P, I need your help! First up, is anyone else having problems with accessing their profile? The new drop down menu appears to have overloaded the circuits as it just aint happening. Secondly, it is my imagination or is Forum turning into a semi populated ghost town? Most importantly, wheres Earl? Its been ages and Im way past the worry stage. Oh....& being a vocab deputy...theres a new word in town....wait for it....deracinate....hanging to use that in a sentence....lol

Drop down menu, ditto. I've been using username search or thru the forums even better. Yeah, I've noticed posts seem to have dropped particularly over last cpl days. Not so unusual for a weekend but very unusual for a Friday. We didn't even turn over a full page in the forums over the last 2 days. I thought posts did better than that during the moderating phase we just passed through. Nice one, first I heard of that one. I'd like to be more surprised that it's about rooting, or more accurately up rooting... now let's see em all racing to their dicktionarys hehe. I am so waiting to hear a sentence now ;-) I'd like to introduce eggular hehe... google it, the movement seems to have grown since we first came across the attempt by The Bunch 94.5 (radio station) to have the word introduced into the dictionary in the last few weeks lol.Then another word lover friend of ours introduced effluvia recently hehe... plenty of that around here.The last and most important... will be in touch.Hugs... It works for me today to ask how on Earth people keep up with all the forums around the place now??? I'm finding it a little like a buffet with so many main and subsidiary forums. Far too many to keep up with on an everyday basis, so I keep finding sweet treats around the place that I hadn't noticed before. It's fun for me. How is everyone else keeping up with everything???

It's frustrating to have to click into each forum and sub-forum to find out if something new has been added. I don't want to 'follow' every thread I post on and have a slew of posts flooding my home stream. IHaha, maybe I should have posted on Boheme's 'slice'of pie' thread instead of bumping this old one up.

But surely I'm not the only one who the forums numbers only refresh for every few hours. In between times, the only way to find out if there have been new posts is to go into each forum/ sub forum of which there are over ten noiw... and that's only the National forums!

but the posts that appear in your stream don't have live links that take you to that post, they just take you to page one.It's lazy, cheap and a bloody pain !Get with it RHP !
