Frustrating

Hi Forum, I'm married and like so many others live in a contactless relationship. I've been through too much in earlier years to start over so I'm not leaving. I've been on normal dating sites looking for a female friend but I get told to get off the site and go to somewhere like here. I do exactly that only to find local women looking for unattached men or attached then delete me when I tell them my situation. Is any one else going through the same or is it just me? Am I doing something wrong.....not in the sense of I shouldn't be on here any way. Thankyou and regards.

Well like everyone else, you're going to just have to keep on trying....Somewhere on here you'll find a lady who is fine with you being attached. Your profile is extremely sparse.

For me, when a married man says everything about my relationship/marriage is perfect except for the sex...then its not perfect!! I dont judge people who want to cheat but I dont want to be a part of it...especially when this site is saturated with actual single men and sexy couples who are both into it!

Trust and respect is the foundation of any relationship, no matter how casual. If you’re not showing that to your wife it’s unlikely you’ll show it to other women, and most women don’t want to be part of something that willingly deceives and disrespects another woman. Hope this helps.

OP even the site which supposedly specialises in extra marital affairs is a tough row to hoe. I've been in a similar situation to yours for a decade or more. Be upfront, be yourself and every year or two someone will cross your horizon.

Definitely relate to what you’re saying mate it’s not an easy position to be in. I’m in a similar predicament myself. Guess try and stay positive mate there will be someone out there.

Just be honest about it, have a personality/communication style that is just upfront and unapologetically you. Approach women who match you as best as you can and couple of times a year you'll find someone. No one stop magic introduction or profile, tried them all - what I have works for those who like what I represent. Best of luck.

Honestly, concentrate on your marriage. Don't be looking elsewhere as that energy could be spent on sorting your issues. You should seperate or do something about it. So many of us go through rough patches but it's how you deal with it and showing you care that makes the difference. Don't mean to get too personal (and feel free to completely ignore my advice) but have you tried all the solutions like counselling and self help? The 5 love languages book could be a good help, I know it helped me massively.
