Ok so there been plenty of posts about the etiquette of saying “thanks, but no thanks”. So how about funny ones? This one just in from us: a couple just messaged us to let us know they would be in our area. Nice profile and like us they were a gorgeous gal and a nice guy who was punching above his weight (aren’t we all). A few light hearted messages back and forth then the photo reveals. We sent body shots first with a “hot” response so then sent face pics. At this stage I’ve arrived home a little excited and show Mrs S their photos, she exclaims with alight hearted laugh “he’s so old, I know what you want, that girl is hot!” I chastise her and show her a photo of me replying “you think I look any younger? We start to banter as I’m checking for their reply on our face photos “Sorry I feel uneasy, you man looks exactly like my uncle” So I tell wifey she won’t have to take one for the team with the old guy and what their reply was. Her response “what! Does she have uncle issues?” I do love my darling wife, she even thinks she’s punching above her weight...shhh don’t tell her the truth!

Lol. Been there except in reverse - my partner had to tell a socially great couple at a party I couldn’t go there because the guy looked EXACTLY like my brother. I’m quite explorative but that’s one thing I just couldn’t do 😂
