Two old grannies were sitting on a Park bench when a streaker ran past...One of them had a Stroke...The other wasn't fast enough. I have no intention of growing old and being inert...As long as i can get it up and am allowed to go down I will :)

For stds are the residents of nursing homes..Dementia can be a disinhibitor ,..there is a lovely film starring Julie Chrisie I think it's called She's Away that covers this subject...... if the tackle's still working OK, I dont see any harm in letting the ferret out for a run every now and then . My ex mother in law was in a nursing home with dementia , she and another dementia patient ( male ) used to get naked then wander through the nursing home and out into the garden holding hands, happy as larry. ? Just as long as I dont need a block and tackle to make my bum go up and down I'll be happy too.

Have to say until the last 10 years or so we have had a re injection of libido due to this site, our meet and greets, fun times, swinger club experiences etc and we are definitely hoping to stay as fit as we can, so we can enjoy each other "physically" for as long as we are able too..... however, we also want to also stay mentally stimulated and in tune with each other which for us, is more important....

:) Sex is great stress relief.. when I am too old and fragile for doing sports for stress relief or keeping up my cardio there will be only one option left... horizontal cardio :) a.k.a sex :) It releases happiness hormones, reduces pain and is good cardio - what more would I want when I am 70? I so damn hope so that I will have a lover when I am 70!

In all seriousness sex at aged care facilities is an issue - there was an SBS special about it a few months ago...I (the deviant me) watched with great interest..there was a lot of interesting topics discussed...such as that most rooms in aged care facilities are for single people -cos usually half of the couple dies by then and no one REALLY anticipates love to blossom...or when they have double beds then it is usually 2 single beds next to eachother...but when one is older then even the positions for sex have to be adjusted...and there is NO EDUCATION about that..no help...then there is the "health and safety concern" aspect...how to help an elderly couple if they want to have "horizontal cardio" to do it safely (e.g that they don't fall of the bed hurting themselves) etc..or the question of how would an elderly resident with dementia go and buy condoms if they want to..these are not sold on premises- and I dare to ask why not? I so hope that by the time I am in that age group there will be "sex positive" or "sex friendly" nursing homes.....if we say sex is a human right then why is society making it really hard for elderly people to have sex if they want to..

My elderly father was 91 when he died but he died happy to some degree the love of his life was in the next room in a low level care hostel ..he met her there and they got engaged she was 89 and she wanted sex badly ...but they werent allowed to sleep together because the rooms were single how unfortunate for them ...they were like a young couple to be around when he died she passed on from a broken heart - Posted from rhpmobile

IF we say sex is a human right and one has to be older 18 or 21 to practise it but after that age one is free to do so why is it being denied from the elderly??? Why is society assuming that the elderly will never want to have sex? If they do want sex isnt it part of the duty of care for the nursing home-aged care facility to make it happen? To provide the setting - that is adequate bedding configuration, someone to help if things go pear shaped (e.g a fall happens), protection (they should store condoms next to other medical items) ? Is that too much to ask for? I so damn hope that by time I am there it is not going to be. I want to live out my last years in a sex-positive aged care facility- or at home lonely...

Several years ago my ex and I were traveling the NT and were spending the night in a caravan park. An elderly couple pulled in next to us and set up camp. We went down the pool for a swim, and as we were coming back we stopped in for a quick chat and howdy do. My guesstimate is that they were mid 70's. We went for showers then started cooking dinner, when we started hearing sex type noises next door..... Holy shitballs these guys made porn seem amateur! Lasted a good hour too! We couldn't stop smiling and high 5ing each other for them lol And what an awesome team, they were packed up and ready to go when the sun rose and we didn't here a thing. I stumbled out for my morning pee just as they were leaving and waved goodbye. She said "have a great day love" and winked at me....

People on RHP who are over 70. At an aged care home I worked at in Scotland, couples were given adjoining rooms. As long as the body and libido is healthy then theres no reason not to keep enjoying sex.

A late 40yo woman in the home with Frontal Lobe dementia (i.e. lacking that little guy on the shoulder whispering that some things are inappropriate to say) She had been a very sexual woman, multiple lovers very bubbly, naturally she was always toey, so the decided to take her to Bingo one day to take her mind of sex. she ended up winning, she stood up excitedly yelling, "what do I win?" painting to the young male orderly, the reply being sorry dear you win a bag of marshmallows...... she looked at the bag for a few moments, puzzled look on her face before finally saying in a disappointed voice..... "but... you can't fuck a bag of marshmallows....." the whole place erupted in laughter..... They did however buy her some porn and gave her a quiet room to rub out her frustrations from time to time......

with a Sex therapist. She was saying if you are sexually active in your 50's, barring any medical issues, you can look forward to enjoying sex till you leave this earth. I am not into the very much younger guys, really do like men closer to my age....would love to find one to sexually explore the next few decades with.

The unfortunate thing is that she was mid 40's when got the disease was put into an old peoples home, They would take her out to the pub etc and chat up men, but as for sex, it was only like you, touching herself..... but unfortunately she passed away after a few years..... rip.....

Not sure if it's because I was a nurse for years but this had come up alot maybe because I'm straight forward and honest. Most older folk are concerned particularly if they have had surgery or a major illness. I've always reckoned if you can, go for it , ok you might have to use a different position but no matter go for it. Where there is a will theres a way. As for older women younger men yes please I have a high sex drive and have multiple orgasms finding someone my own age to keep up next to impossible. Think it scares younger as well.
