And I love having access to the forum thru the app! Hate that I still can't get template replies to work tho. I like the option to turn off the nearby thing too. I like privacy :) xx Sarah- Posted from rhpmobile

And the Beta version won't work properly. Can still only use the full site. But, for when it does work: Is there any way to not have the '- Posted from rhpmobile' in every post?

Hi everyone, thanks for the comments on the all new rhpmobile, your feedback is super important as it helps us give you the greatest mobile experience possible! In regards to the question from Superfox about disabling the “people in my area” notification: When you are on the “Nearby” screen in the app, at the bottom of the screen you’ll see a grey toolbar. If you tap the “Notify Me” icon you’ll see three notification headings - Matches, Friends and My Hotlist. You can turn these notifications on or off just by tapping them. A green arrow to the right of the notification heading means it is on, no green arrow means it is off. Powerful new privacy settings: One of the most important new features of rhpmobile is the 3 levels of privacy we’ve built into the “Nearby” proximity searching feature. When you are on the “Nearby” screen, you can access the privacy panel by tapping the “My Location” icon in the grey toolbar at the bottom of the screen. You can now select one of the following three privacy settings for your rhpmobile account. Accurate: If you have selected the “Accurate” privacy setting, when you appear in the search results of other members they will be shown your exact location down to a few meters. Vicinity: With the “Vicinity” privacy setting selected, members will only be aware that you are in the general vicinity. Nearby Off (formerly Profile Location): Selecting the “Nearby Off” privacy setting effectively turns your “Nearby” location information off, and offers maximum privacy. When this setting is selected, members are shown only the location associated with your normal registered profile location. *Note: due to the name of our maximum privacy setting causing some confusion among users, we have changed the name of the “Profile Location” privacy setting to “Nearby Off”. Hope this helps, gang! If you have any more feedback or questions, hit us back here. Team RHP.

It automatically opens when I try to access the RHP mobile and wont let me even proceed to the rest of the app menu to turn it off. I have to try an access the main site to access RHP on the mobile.

Quoting 'GunnaBHot'It automatically opens when I try to access the RHP mobile and wont let me even proceed to the rest of the app menu to turn it off. I have to try an access the main site to access RHP on the mobile. And every time I get the message that RHP cannot access my location, even though I have turned it off, so RHP does not need to know my location. I have to go to the main site too for it to work properly.

The nearby / proximity thing is a bit whack - it gets my location right, but the list of nearby people are off (Maitland and Wollongong cannot both be nearby to me in the inner west of Sydney). The "matches" alerts are 50% of the time 100% wrong!- Posted from rhpmobile

I downloaded the app last night and was a bit disappointed... I disabled the location setting because I am not cool with strangers knowing where I am, so now I constantly get pop-ups warning me of an 'Error: user has denied to use current location'. Yes, and?!Also, I used the search function and instantly ran into memory problems on my iPhone. I had only 2-3 other apps in the task-bar at the bottom, and I have never had this problem with any other app, even online-shopping apps like eBay and Etsy. And finally, could we please open profiles properly when clicking on them, not just splash us in the face with their photo in full-screen? Call me overly inquisitive, but I like to read what people say, not just ogle at their bits.So an A for effort, but still a lot of work needed (I think)
