  On south straddie We often went nude. We used to waterski /wakeboard down the Coomera River, across the Broadwater, drop anchor and wade ashore. Set up our tent and spend the entire weekend there. Never saw anyone, on South Straddie, in the 16 months that we lived on the GC. We suppose if the ranger had arrived we may have been fined. But we were always very careful and found a private spot, and kept our bathers close at hand.

  The trick is so go off season and out of school holidays. We used to go nude at the keyholes but I think those 4WD tracks are closed now. We also had a delightful public tryst at Blue lake but it was off season with no one around. If you have a a 4WD and can go far enough up Main beach off season, no one will care. Frenchman's beach is the nude beach, it is a cove and not accessible by 4WD, you have to be somewhat fit to access it by the stairs, those stairs are a killer - travel light ;) Beware though, if it is a crappy windy beach day all the non-nudist people will go to Frenchmans as it is protected. You may end up with an unintentional audience. Lastly - a public service education announcement - a nudist beach is for nudists and not sex acts, so if you intend to go nude be respectful be natural but don't be sexual.
