Have ever had to worry about...glad to have brains over great beauty any day...work on other aspects of yourself...actually I believe that the sexy nerds are where it's at these days not the deeply shallow pretty boys xxFreya

as Freya. Looks will only get you so far and so long in life - if you've got nothing between the ears your star will burn out very quickly. Tall

speechless at this post actually. It comes across as so very shallow but I'm not sure thats how you mean it. i will just say this, you can't live life with regrets and it's never to late to change yourself.

I've been to a few. We are a pretty social group and get together every couple of years with a big turn out. At the very first one we had, everyone was hanging out to see the hotties. We kept looking around because they had indicated that they would attend but we couldn't see them. Turns out we didn't recognise them because their looks had taken a massive slide down a slippery slope. It was the quiet and unassuming little black ducks that had blossomed and a couple had grown into drop dead gorgeous men and women. Thank heavens for name tags! I guess some peoples looks peak at an early age while others are like fine wine and mature better with age. Some just don't change and look the same as they did back in their school years. It all comes down to life experiences, lifestyle choices and family genes that determine the toll it takes on us and how we handle things.

There are plenty of people in the world who have gotten by based on their looks. But seriously mate, who cares? Be the best version of yourself and let the chips fall as they may. Being happy and genuine is far more attractive to most people than actual physical beauty. Sorry for the cliche response, just a bit of advice from someone at a similar age

When I had the good looks in my twenties I didn't have the confidence to be aware of them, let alone use them to my advantage purposely. I did get a lot of free drinks from barmen though and DJ's used to take all my song requests. These days (20 years older, 20 kilos heavier, etc.) I don't get the attention I did then, but I'm a lot happier in my skin and think I'm more beautiful on the inside now. I happy growing older, I just wish those bags under my eyes would go away after a good night's sleep like they used to. I feel bad for those who when their looks fade have nothing to fall back on.

..a friend who was the same age as me...and whose birthday was coming up...said to me " D###, I'm turning 30 tomorrow and I feel like I haven't done anything with my life ". Even then, at the ripe old age of 30, I was speechless. I felt exactly the same at 30 as I had at 29...not a day older...and certainly not a member of a different generation. This midlife crisis at 30 is something Ive seen in a few others too. Try not to fall for it...it's just an illusion. Life has gotten richer and...by default...better in the years since 30 and I'm a more complete person than i was back then. Just relax and enjoy the ride.

Can be defined in different ways. I've never been a stunner ( some of my friends are still gorgeous in their 50 s ) but I make the most of what I have and would rather people liked me for my company rather than my looks anyway. Like the others have said, looks will fade but personality will always shine through.

When I was thirty I was just beginning to get the hang of being a grown up. I look at it now and shudder with embarrassment. Chill ax and enjoy. All will be revealed in the fullness of time.

There's just not enough hours in my day to date all the men who approach me because of my good looks. .....if only! 😜 - Posted from rhpmobile

after a really bad illness I watched my gorgeous older girlfriend literally age over night. She based all of net worth on her looks. If only she realised that her soul radiated beauty not the layer of skin upon it laid. - Posted from rhpmobile

If only everyone realised that gem. Alas, it's a revelation that usually seems to come with age. And maturity.

Looks are not that important. It is how you carry yourself and the confidence you carry that attracts us more. A winning personality great conversation and sexy confidence will get us into you much quicker than the shallowness of how you look. - Posted from rhpmobile
