Have you read 'Sex at Dawn'?

December 21 2023

Sex at Dawn, a non-fiction book by Christopher Ryan & Cacilda Jethá challenges the conventional theory of monogamy, using research to advocate a more natural and open approach to sexual relations between humans. It's quire an excellent read. and while definitely biased toward ethical non-monogamy in various forms, it does entertain very good research and citations for all areas of monogamous and non-monogamous relationship paradigms. Given that we all here are most likely in favour of ethical (and sometimes non ethical eg. Cuck) noon monogamy, it will likely be a great source of confirmation bias and maybe some great psychological and biological understanding of why you feel the way you do.. wanting to indulge your hungers with more than one source of human sexual fulfillment. I have a copy that was gifted to me by a dear lover and friend. In the spirit it was given, i would like to make my copy available to anyone who would like to borrow it (Perth region). Hit me up in the DM's x

It's an excellent book and very informative, I got a copy from the Wanneroo library, nearly ten years ago. It tells us why the human penis is shaped the way it is. It has a pearl of wisdom in that we can't choose what we want but we can choose what we do about it. Recommended reading...

Wonderful book. Was given this by my bestie after my last child was born nearly 13 years ago. Another good read, slightly more "academic" is The Ethical Slut.... This is one of my all time fave reads.

I remember reading this book shortly after it came out, all prior to my nonmonogamy adventures. I thought it was a cherry picked selection of wonderfully interesting stories that challenge the mainstream narrative. The Mosuo tribe in China who are allowed any man to come in and play under cover of night so long as they disappear by morning free comes to mind! I think it would be a stretch to call the book science but I’d still recommend. It sat on my display for years as a quiet reminder no tradition, norm or accepted truth is beyond question :)
