...yes, it was a glued on phallus. True hermaphrodites have a vagina with a relatively small penis where the clitoris should be and are often very male in their appearance. Do some research.

What is it with people on this site, are we plain dumb ?? I know there is Google search out there, if I wanted to research it, I would of... I'm asking this question for personal experiences in "real-life". Its a topic that shouldn't really get that much response, because not many of us would of had that opportunity to experience it. Come on people... some of you just make comment so you can be seen, constructive information is what I'm looking for.

Iv have known 2 , not real sure how it went . When they were born the parents made the call on weather they would be male or female both cases i think they got it wrong . I could be really misinformed though !!

She was raised a boy, but started hormone treatment a few years back and is a woman now, working towards gender reassignment surgery. I've known her as both a boy and a woman, and cannot begin to imagine how brave she is.

Hermaphroditic organisms are able to impregnate themselves, whereas intersex people are often infertile. So you can see why being called a hermaphodite can be painful for them. And just copied this from an intersex idiscussion site: About 1 in 1000 babies are classified at birth by doctors as intersex because their genitalia appear atypical. This is more babies than are born with Down’s Syndrome. I had no idea.

hi guys .. about 8 months ago , give or take i was presented with the opportunity by one of my playmates at the time to enjoy some time with an intersex sex worker that she had found in the local paper, at the time i declined, still not sure what i would say now but that is besides the point..anyway she had spoken at length with this person and was told that "they" were more feminine in appearance with natural breasts, a c cup i believe, also both of their sexual organs were fully functioning, the male organ was about 3.5 inches i think , and she ( i think she prefered that) could come from both.. I dont frequent the paper for these services but from memory she made a very good living and travelled around australia doing so .. maybe she'll be coming to a town near you haha.. hope this helpsP.S ive tried not to make any un pc comments but apolagize in advance if that is the case ,, easy subject to get confused with

The condition is called congenital adrenal hyperplasia. It is extremely serious and these babies can present in crisis and be extremely ill. It is referred to as ambiguous genitalia. The saddest part about it is that surgeons convince parents to repair the anomaly in the female form. For those that are male, it's a lifelong problem because they know they are not a female and have never felt feminine. True hermaphroditism is extremely rare.

People often believe that they should use the indefinite article an in front of words like historic, horrific, or hotel. Are they right or wrong? Should you say ‘an historic event’ or ‘a historic event’? It's a bit more complicated ... some words like "apple" used to begin with "n" and the "n" migrated to the indefinite article "a" ... usually the rule of "an" before a vowel or an unaspirated "h" is correct - Hotel is tricky ... partly because the etymology is confused and the word may be related to ostler (hence hostelry) ... so "an" may or may not be correct ... most people would use "a" ...Steve

Love how some of you guys assume so much but still don't have the facts. The terminology of hermaphrodite had indeed been changed overtime to a more medical term of intersexed to try & relieve the pornagraphic image of us as individuals. Ms_Devious has that perfect but there is anatomical & biological conditions of the same, true hermaphrodites must have ovarian & testicular tissue but there are many pseudo types, more children are born with biological intersexed conditions than most people realise.But for those of us who were born with both male & female genitalia it was either all removed or a particular sex assigned at birth for which we had no choice. Most true hermaphrodites especially in Australia have always been treated this way and it leaves a group of people like myself who have grown up very different to other people who have genitalia. Overseas true hermaphrodites do exist and in some cultures they are revered but in Australia many of us are discriminated against because we are not what most people regard as the norm.We are though real people and it would be nice just to be cared about for a change and not be what especially some males regard us as, where we seem to be the brunt of a fantasy that probably ends in ejaculation.Happy Xmas EveryoneTrace0175
