Gosh darnit. Yes, sometimes I think I was born in the wrong place. Despite the USA's foibles, there's just so much awesome things to do. Then again also locally, in Canberra, I'm still a bit miffed after coming back. Perth and WA really needs to get its head out of the sand. So many lost opportunities from just focusing on being a hoteliers and miners playground. On that note, atleast I'll get to go flying again soon, not travel but a bit more skill building toward a pilot licence. - Posted from rhpmobile

Avalon Airshow :) yes and Gold coast boat show, and alone with Fire cracker night in the NT. Which is only match by fire works at water front. Isn't any match to the Sydney harbour show at news yrs eve. on the bucket list is the Mardi Gar alone Oxford Street Sydney, and the outback Melbourne cup race Birds villa.

I get excited with the planning and eventual execution of my own adventures/holidays. Sometimes short notice, sometimes 6 months or more. It's something to look forward to, something to focus my efforts on, and something to remind myself of why I work hard in the first place.Next adventure is for sometime next year...a round Oz trip on the motorbike, but over a period of several months. Even working occasionally to extend it. Past adventures have taught me that time is always too short...so I'm addressing that this time. Ironically, it's going to prove more expensive than those overseas holidays for a few weeks...hence the idea to work if needed.
