Hotlists, Shortlists, would you be offended if you werent on any ?

This site is fickle; I know I am completely inconsistent from one week to the next. So the best approach is to have pretty low expectations. I think i am on some people’s hotlists and i might not have even had a flirt or message from them, but I too am guilty of the same thing! I think people would use it for different reasons. I know i use it for when I am too busy to strike up a new 'RHP buddy/FWB/mate - woteva' so I hotlist them 'for later' hehe that is how i have chosen to use it. And for the friends’ thing, I don't seem to be friends with the people i have met or the people i chat to lots - go figure? That is just totally random too, one day it seems like fun to focus on it and then it is forgotten about for months! By the time you find out what the popular opinion is on ‘how to’ use these features is, most of us have generally stuffed it up anyhow lol! With sex being the main point of this site, I think everything else that doesn't directly lead to sex, doesn’t hold too much importance for most...? My few cents worth of opinion anyhoo

it took ages to be on anyones hot list or short list so im not really worried by it...im only on a handful now, im certainly not on hundreds, maybe about 10 although i have managed to put myself on my own short list...dont know how, just skill i guess haha dont worry about it...like boobs said, this site is very fickle roxxy

I never quite got the hand of the shortlist, contact list and hotlist. What's the difference between all of these? I mean, is any more favourable than another? I've hotlisted people who aren't on my friend's lust.. but I want to follow them for their posts or because I like their profile pics.. or whatever.... but shortlist has me beat.... if you're on my shortlist are you also on my contact's lust? If not, then are you really that close to the top of the list.. or are you just not talking to me? I don't understand it at all. One list is good... that would be a list of names, addresses and phone numbers. :pHugsStalky

I don't the difference between the short list and hot list but I know if you have people on your hot list you also see whenever they log in. So you can then send them a chat request or email when they are on-line. xx Meeka

I don't look and see whos list i'm on, but not being able to stop randoms i've never spoken to being directly notified when i come online bothers me. I know I can block them or opt to not appear online to anyone but that seems like an overreaction to something that's only a minor irritation to me. xx Sarah

For us the differance is ppl on our hot list are ppl we have met and know they are hot. ppl on our short list are ppl we would like to meet and find out if they are hot ......lol Also ppl on our friends list are ppl we have at least met or played with. Never understand friend requests from ppl we have never met..... Hope that helps R and D xx

I havn't looked either, but I would be pretty damn sure I wouldn't be on anyones. There is no one on mine either, at least as far as I can recall.Cheers Nev

Seriously people, there are so many options... you just have to spend sometime and figure whats what. For example, there is an option so that no-one can see when you have logged on or if you have viewed their profile. The main benefit of the hot/friend list is that I am updated on any posts they have made, if any new pics have been downloaded or if their profile has been updated or (most importantly heheheh) they have registered for an event - because I might just like to join them!!! hahahah When I log on I usually look at who has been looking at my profile... and how many times ;) The hotlist thing is a double edged sword.... I'm not telling the number but it really means nothing when I'm usually sitting alone online on a Saturday night.... But I definitely use the hotlist myself - if I see a profile that requires closer attention - I can find it easily again later :)

i accidentally put someone on my hot/short/special thingy list when i first started out.......Every time i logged on everything they had done..posts pics events etc came up as a stream......and it was someone very active in the forums.......I thought they were stalking me and was getting mighty pissed off !!!lol luckilly I worked it out...well a G/friend told me...before i had a stand up cyber discussion about they're harassment !!lol.....its a challenge being technologically challenged !!
