Hotlists.......please explain??

If you go to your stats you can see how many. I think over 450 hot lists and 300 short lists... which is the list I don't get? What is the short list... I suppose just a way of remembering who you thought was a possibility? Anyway, if someone is on your hotlist you can see when they login in the real time info on the top right hand corner of your screen, all the better to stalk you, and their comments will appear on your newsfeed as well. Well they used to. I don't have anyone on my hot list either I don't think.

Just a little bit different from the hot list that it doesn't have the stalking potentialities of either the hot or the friend's list, the friend's list being very similar in the way it acts to the hot list.. but the 'friend' has to accept your request. The short list doesn't share when people sign in or what they post. You can't short list someone who has you blocked (nor can you make them accept your friend request hehe) but you can hot list them (why, I don't know). I only hot list people I like to follow in the forums these days. That's a very short list

Sorry ding for my tone, but I know no other way to convey my point. The hotlist/short lists are the same to me as who's viewed my profile. Scoring -10 out of 10 on my care factor spectrum. If I were to honestly worry about things like that, I'd feel as though I'd need to go find a hobby. - Posted from rhpmobile

The hotlist is what I call the stalkers list lol..... Ppl can tell when you log on, read your updates, forums etc.... It would be good if you could remove yourself from other ppls hotlist at times. We are on so many ppls hotlist n short list - it's flattering but also alittle scary lol

To all those people who are so very 'concerned' at being in hundreds and even thousands of Hotlists, why not just block these stalkers and be done with it??Just a thought

means nothing to me....When I was known as "SuperFox" I was on just over 1000 lists....just means nill to me cause not interested in it.People have their own reasons to put people on there lists...it's there too cause RHP can have it there.I put people there cause I want to and I know them, does not mean tho I stalk them...Have better things to do - my time is too precious to sit and watch my "Hot list".FOXY

ok so as i thought, not much use at all....and Sirlurkalot i didnt say I cared, nor was I worried, i only just discovered it last night, i was simply wondering what the purpose was. Believe me if i had time for a hobby id be happy!Intrigued09, as i said ive only just discovered the list, other wise i probably would have deleted them by now!!

But for me, if I add someone onto my Hotlist, it means that I think of them as: 1) Real friend; 2) Genuinly hot and good looking; 3) A true gentleman who possess the qualities that I like. It doesn't bother me if I'm on others' Hotlist, there's no harm done plus my profile is locked from time to time anyway, so I just let it be 😛 Like Lady_Tuscan used to say, let people look if they want to check out my profile, and I can always block whoever I don't like lol- Posted from rhpmobile

Lovely miss ding. As someone who has you on their hotlist for quite a while... We put people on our hotlist that we find interesting for any number of reasons. Sometimes because we have come across them in the forums and found their posts, thoughts, viewpoints or attitudes interesting. Adding someone to the hot list adds their general activies to your stream... Ie if they reply to a forum topic it puts a link in your stream to the topic. Sometimes because they have great profiles or pictures like miss poppins or neptune drift's. And some purely because they are what we would consider hot. It's any easy way to keep a list of people that interest you but don't know enough to be friends with.. You are there for all 3 reasons.. We hope you don't mind Mark and Vixen- Posted from rhpmobile
